It's Official

I'm declaring my independence from everyone around me. Yup, the world has gone mad and I'm not going to take it any more. My own country is paralyzed by fear. Fear of doing anything. Except for those pesky democrats. They have a goal and they are not giving up. They can't tell us what that goal is because if they did they would possibly lose some of their momentum. In order to find out what their goal is all one has to do is listen to what they are saying and watch what they are doing. You will very quickly notice a dramatic disconnect.

They say they love America so they want to begin a plan to "Build Back Better." What the heck does that mean? Well, nobody really seems to know or care. When Donald Trump left office the economy was strong, American manufacturing was returning to America, inflation was low and wages were rising. There were no major wars going on and President Trump was traveling the world meeting with world leaders forging alliances among our allies and understanding among potential enemies. He wasn't afraid to let organizations such as NATO know what they needed to do to improve and to tell them the United States was going to continue its support, but the other nations were going to have to work harder to do what they had already pledged to do. President Trump didn't want any more wars. He was prepared to end American involvement in Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East. He recognized Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel ending the debate. He let the Chinese government know that Taiwan's independence was important and Taiwan would be defended.

North Korea stopped testing nuclear weapons and launching ballistic missile tests while Trump was president. The invasion across the Southern border slowed to a trickle. Americans were feeling good about themselves again after undergoing constant efforts by the Obama administration to keep racial tensions alive. And now that Uncle Joe won the election we've returned to those bad days of self doubt, racial strife, and self loathing. Uncle Joe has decided that traditional racial strife was becoming boring so he put his people to work on something new and they rallied to the cause. Black vs. white was becoming old news so they beefed up another crackpot idea that has been gaining steam, but was just having a tough time gaining traction; White Men are Evil. And to rope a few gals in on this they decided that all white people were stealing from the other races (read: black people) through an intangible concept called White Privilege and all white people need to just knock it off. 

And of course white people still, according to Uncle Joe and his court jesters, hold all of the power so everybody must tread lightly. "Hey little white person, we understand. It ain't your fault, you don't even know you have white privilege because it's been thrust on you your entire life. You just need to be more aware of how insensitive you are and treat other races  better." So all corporations started putting on seminars to let their employees know how rotten they'd been their entire lives and it was time to step aside and, "Give the people you've been oppressing all your life, without knowing it of course, your job and your position. And tell them you are sorry, and you will never be like that again, and send a donation to Black Lives Matter; a very large donation..." Because face it, white people just are not good people. My favorite was the Pepsi Cola company who just flat out told their employees to 'stop being so white!' 

What? What does that even mean, and how exactly are we supposed to do that? But Pepsi had a list that included such things as, 'don't be so assertive, stop telling everybody about your ideas, don't dress nicer than the people around you...,' there were eight or nine things they suggested white people should stop doing. And as you can imagine a lot of people, including people who don't work for Pepsi were annoyed. I for one haven't purchased a Pepsi product since I saw the list. In case anyone cares I don't drink Coca Cola products either and for similar reasons, I've found the store brands to be every bit as good and they don't tell me I need to be less white or more gender aware or any other stupid stuff. Apparently the backlash against Pepsi was significant since soon after that became corporate policy, at least for the little white people on the ground making all the rich people richer, they blamed the studio that made the training video. The Pepsi Big Shots claimed they didn't know that was part of the presentation and gave the Little People permission to be themselves, as long as the little white people didn't over do it, or something like that. 

Even my former employer, a large American city had us all go through a eight hour training course put on by a black professor from somewhere in Missouri I think. He was very kind and told us he didn't think white people meant to be bad, they just couldn't help it because wwaaaayyyy before any of us were born a bunch of black tribal leaders in Africa offered up people they didn't like for sale and some idiot white guys bought them and transported them across the ocean where they were sold again to other white people, and to a few wealthy black people as well (but we don't need to talk about that) so they could do their work for them for 'free'. So evidently because of a few hundred wealthy idiots a couple hundred years ago I'm supposed to hate myself for profiting from white privilege which is something that doesn't even exist. The only privilege I'm aware of is wealth. We have the 'haves' and the 'have nots'. And that has existed ever since Cain killed Able. And of course I asked the good professor how I could correct something I had no idea I was doing, and according to him I could never change. So how is his presentation helpful to our organization? The truth is he didn't know but that didn't stop him from trying. I can't remember what he said because it didn't make any sense. Something about trying to be aware that I had the white privilege disease and I had to work harder to be nice to people of other races (read: black people). 

And it turns out that Uncle Joe and his minions are very resourceful and they have pretty decent imaginations and a burning desire to create friction in America so they created a whole bunch of different genders. We aren't supposed to describe ourselves as male or female anymore. The truth, according to people who wouldn't know the truth if it punched them in the face, is that we don't know what gender we are. And it is possible that we never will. They teach us that it is possible to live your entire life not knowing if you are male or female. These days we're supposed to refer to ourselves at 'they' or 'them', not 'his' or 'hers' and They-Them are interchangeable ensuring that we never differentiate between male and female because that somehow degrades society as a whole. In grade school Uncle Joe's 'experts' want teachers to waste valuable school time telling kids that they may have been told they are either boys or girls, but whoever has been telling them that could be wrong. To make matters even worse when we introduce ourselves to someone new we are supposed to ask them what pronoun they prefer to be known as, even though it is obvious that they are a boy or a girl. Satan has always wanted to destroy God's children and democrats have signed up to help him achieve that goal. 

Under the direction of democrat 'rulers' we are raising a generation of fools. I was attending a Halloween party recently when I greeted a child I have known her whole life, she's eleven years old now, and I greeted her by saying something awful, humiliating, just plain ignorant. I said, "Hey there she is!" I know, I get red faced every time I think about how unsophisticated I am, but that's just the way it is I suppose. I had no idea how offensive that statement was until she greeted me with, "Did you just call me a she?" 

I was totally humiliated. How could I have possibly thought it was ok to say something so completely insensitive? I really did not know how to respond to her interrogatory. Totally surprised at being braced that way by an eleven year old who has been carefully brainwashed by an education system obviously far superior to the one that taught me, I responded, "What difference does it make?" Perhaps because I'm about sixty years older than she is she gave me a break and didn't pursue the issue any further. I'm not sure I will ever be acceptable in polite company ever again. I may be redeemable, time will tell. Someday there may be a government re-education Kamp where I can be programmed to see the world the way democrats think I should. The honest truth is what they are doing to kids in schools these days is evil. 

They tell me that kids in other industrialized nations do much better in math and science than our kids and I believe it. Our kids may not be able to add and subtract but they know that they don't know if they are a boy or a girl, how many other countries can make that claim? 

So there it is. I'm divorcing myself from just about everyone around me. We are raising a nation of fools and that can only end in disaster. Teachers are even telling grade school children that if they think they have been mislabelled they can change their gender. Girls don't have to be girls and boys don't have to be boys just because that's the label some stupid medical team and their parents have always told them. If a kid was mislabelled there are doctors who can correct the error. No thanks. I am not part of that society. They've even passed laws allowing teachers and administrators to 'help' kids fix themselves and make themselves the gender they know they truly are by taking them to gender reassignment specialists without telling their parents. 

I am a Child of God and an American. Americans are not stupid enough to believe that a person can change their gender. We are born Male and female and I cannot be taught any other way. Real Americans accept themselves the way they are and don't pretend they can mutilate themselves into becoming something else and they certainly don't believe in forcing others to accept a concept that evil. I suppose that if a child goes to school and insists on being honest about gender identity he or she can be expelled from the school. Someday they will probably pass a law that allows some government entity to take a child away from a parent who teaches their children that it is wrong to believe they can change from a girl to a boy or a boy to a girl. 

Anyone who embraces that ideology of confusion is harming children and therefore society as a whole. We don't need confused and weak minded children. We need strong and confident children. 

VIGILANTES!

There was a time when we didn't need police officers or judges, or courtrooms, or juries, we didn't need any of that. It was simple and very cost effective and once the case was handled it was over. Usually in a couple of hours at the most, in case it took some time to find a place tall enough to attach a rope. Bury the body in a cheap coffin and life goes on. Say what you want about vigilante justice it was efficient sort of, the only problem was with the justice part. If you didn't have a receipt for the horse you were leading behind the horse you were riding and some rancher liked the horse he just took it. You obviously stole it or you'd have a receipt right? Ranchers always had rope and they could find somewhere a few feet off the ground where they could tie it. 

Five or six minutes later the guy without the receipt was hanging at the end of a rope. He wasn't dead, just choking to death slowly. And the rancher was two ponies richer, plus the man's boots, gun, belt, saddle, and whatever else the poor man had in his possession. So imagine how much fun the repeat will be. We will still be paying tons of money for a police department. Their job will be traffic enforcement I guess. The police won't be allowed to arrest anyone unless they can't figure out any other way to handle a situation, for example, just let the guy go. Vigilantes will take care of it! No bail will mean that there are far more crooks roaming the streets than at anytime since 1840. And the solution will be quick undeniable sidewalk justice. 

Police departments will be replaced by armed security companies who won't need to make arrests because it will be hard for the thieves they catch to resume their criminal activity with horribly deformed hands and missing fingers. Some of them will brand words on people's faces, "Thief", "Robber", "Liar", "Prostitute", whatever they think is appropriate. Shoplifters will be beaten senseless on the sidewalk, some of them won't survive the beating, ditto purse snatchers. And some of the people will be guilty and some won't. Some bad guys will continue to get away with their crimes because they are better fighters than their security guard tormentors. 

And none of this would be all that bad except for the fact that too many times vigilantes just pick on whoever they don't like or the stranger in town. Too many innocent people are injured or killed by vigilantes, but that is what the democrat party is pulling for. When you tell the world that the police are racists who go out every day looking for young black men to kill, and they only exist to violate people's rights, and they deserve to be killed, you are speaking against the entire police community. And that is what half of the people in this country are doing; advocating for smaller departments and spending less money to equip and train them. Anyone who supports the So-called Black Lives Matter movement supports the murder of police officers and while it is mostly democrats who are involved in this madness sadly there are too many Republicans who also support BLM. The same people claim to support the police but that is simply not possible. Messy is what democrats like and they are relentless. They won't settle for anything less than 'messy' government. 

If you support the police you really can't align yourself with a group of people who advocate murdering them can you? No, you can't. I am a hardcore supporter of the Bill of Rights. I also have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. I support law and order. Just to help democrats and a small number of Republicans who will also do or say anything to get elected I'll let you know that vigilantism is the opposite of law and order. Vigilantes are messy. So what's the point? Obviously the point is that either democrats are incapable of thinking for themselves or they support vigilante justice. You cannot be opposed to the police and claim you oppose vigilantism at the same time. That is confusion and confusion is bad. Except to democrats. Democrats thrive on chaos and confusion. In America only a democrat can look at rabid rioters burning an entire block of businesses after stealing everything inside and describe the scene as mostly peaceful as was done repeatedly on many so-called news stations. Ironically those rioters are vigilantes supporter by the democrat party. They are punishing big corporations for not giving enough support to terrorist organizations like Black Lives Matter and the entire LGBTQ+ whatever. You don't have to have a rope to be a vigilante, all you need is a black heart and a scared out of your mind frame of reference. 

Can any democrat explain to me how completely demoralizing police officers, degrading their service and accusing them of horrible crimes helps police departments recruit the best candidates for the job? I bet there are a lot of people on parole who would love to be police officers and they won't care what you call them they'll just beat you into submission and move on to their next victim. Give an ex-con and badge and a gun and you will create one very happy person. And I'm sure many democrats who read this are telling themselves that sounds like a good idea. The individual was probably falsely arrested and convicted in the first place. It is in fact a very difficult job teaching democrats. They thrive on slogans and indoctrination; education plays a very small role in their goals. Or how judges sympathetic to criminals do everything they can to help them avoid the burden of paying for their crime? Most of us are afraid of convicting  an innocent person. That's why we ensure that everyone has access to a lawyer and they get their day in court. They have an opportunity to have a trial by jury and to even play a role in who gets to judge them. Constitutional Republicanism isn't perfect, but it's the best the world has to offer presently. The worst form of justice is a hot temper and a rope. 

Anyone who hates the police, but trusts the central government to disarm all citizens, with apparent intent to create a national police force, really doesn't have their head screwed on all that tight. And I don't want anyone who can't keep a coherent thought in their head anywhere near the leadership of our country. The problem is they do have coherent thoughts but they can't tell us what they really want or most of their supporters would turn on them. The moral of this story is vigilantes are bad. They just are. And a system based on vigilante justice is going to be a very bad system.  

We need police departments that are well funded, with police officers who are paid enough to live a dignified life, and well trained so they know how to appropriately interact with the public and they understand the law. And we need an educated public who understands the need for a well trained and well paid police department. I'm not even going to address the crazies who claim that since there are some bad police officers we need vigilante justice. That is just plain stupid and our goal should not be to become a society of morons. People turn to vigilante justice out of desperation and fear, not because they like it. And they create police departments to bring order into the world. When we are protected by the police we are free to conduct business without worrying about interference from criminals. Even if we support the right to bear arms not everyone will want to own and carry a gun and if we allow the criminal justice system to work not everyone will feel compelled to carry a gun. It still remains the law of the land and we should respect that. 

Democrats are also destroying the court system when they claim that the entire system is racist and certain people are incarcerated at a higher rate than others. Many of us agree that criminals are incarcerated at a higher rate than people who obey the law. Democrats want to make it look like it isn't that simple, they won't admit that more people from a certain portion of society commit a greater proportion of crimes and if they do they have a good reason and that is no reason to put them in prison. I'd like to introduce a little honesty to the discussion even though that makes democrats flinch, but we are talking about black people and they were subjected to a lot of injustice. Slavery was wrong and there is no way to justify it. Unfortunately black people won't allow white people to admit that. I'm not sure why, but it is a fact. We've changed the law, supported their right to live wherever they want to live, provided them legal assistance to stop job discrimination based on race, same with housing, we've even moved them up to the front of the line, based on their race, for college admission and government jobs. That's not enough. We need to do more. And democrats really need to learn how to think and plan ahead. They need to realize that education trumps indoctrination every time. They need to think about the consequences of vigilante justice on one of their main constituency groups; black people. When we resort to vigilante justice the world won't change. Black people will be among the hardest hit groups in the country. Everything Americans have done to help black people recover from the effects of slavery will be erased. 

That's probably one of the main reasons for democrats to want to return to vigilante law; they are losing an ever growing portion of the black vote. There are a lot of reasons why black people are tired of being used by democrats. They don't like it when democrats like Bloody Hilary stereotype them for political gain saying things like, "I ain't feelin' noways tired!" They know she was pandering to them and talking down to them, recognizing publicly that as a group black people are not as well educated as the rest of the population, and a growing number of them don't like it. If democrat philosophy succeeds in America and vigilante justice resumes democrats can make speeches condemning the practice and shouting that white America is racist and there is no justice! In America it is impossible for a black man to succeed..." They like to look like heroes without being heroes. A hundred and fifty years ago their heroes were men like Robert E. Lee, Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson and Jefferson Davis and that kind of backfired on them. Today democrats are trying to erase any memory of the American civil war, but it did happen and they did start it. They are back to the drawing board now hoping to start another civil war with an outcome more favorable to them this time. That's not going to happen. They may get their war, but the outcome will be the same; mass destruction, millions of unnecessary deaths and in the end America will prevail . Many people who think they favor democrat's efforts to divide the country will change their mind when they realize that what is happening is the end of constitutional government. No rational person wants that. 

And to achieve the fall of America democrats have to destroy everything that makes this a great nation. Our justice system is at the forefront of that greatness. They need people to believe that all police officers are racists because if they weren't they wouldn't be allowing white people to kill, rob, and steal while arresting black people for the same thing. It's a very bold lie and too many people are starting to believe it. And since the police only arrest black people because of their skin color and then file false arrest reports, black people shouldn't have to pay any amount of bail money to ensure they appear in court. And while that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with vigilantism, it will lead to vigilantism and it says a lot about the frenzied democrat mind. 

Since most democrats are allergic to reason they will laugh and say I'm just trying to scare people since there hasn't been vigilante justice since democrat president Whozit outlawed it about a thousand years ago (facts mean absolutely nothing to democrats, just listen to a couple of Uncle Joe's speeches). When Republicans make a mistake in one of their speeches it's a total assault on human decency. A conspiracy to destroy our Democracy. Democrats don't like to admit we are not a democracy. When a democrat gets his facts wrong it's "C'mon he just misspoke! He knows what the Declaration of Independence is, ya 'all are just pickin' on 'im." Laugh all you want, vigilante justice is already happening and a captain from the Los Angeles Police predicted it would happen over twenty years ago if the police weren't allowed to do their job. 

He said that home owners associations were going to hire private security. He actually suggested that private security was going to replace police departments in the future and he my have been right. Homeowner associations all over the country have been forced to hire private security because the police have told them that they don't have the manpower to respond to calls for property belonging to the association. And as trespassers are becoming more unruly and violent associations are permitting some of the guards to be armed. There is an association of business owners who began hiring private security years ago to chase homeless people away from their doorways and to catch burglars. They don't make arrests and they don't call the police. They beat the living snot out of anyone who dares to disobey their orders. And they drive very clean cars the same make as the local police and they wear uniforms very similar to those of the local police officers. The thieves think they are being roughed up by the local police so they don't call the police either, they just move on to another city where it's safer to be a burglar. 

The reason the associations are resorting to what amounts to vigilantism is because the police are barred from taking legal action against lawlessness. They are hobbled by top heavy police  departments whose administrators who are afraid of riling organizations like the ACLU, the SPLC, and BLM, and by prosecutors who refuse to enforce such laws as the Three Strikes law, and judges who let criminals go free without paying any bail. The Three strikes law was a great law. It ensured that criminals were given multiple chances to ply their trade without going to prison. Those with any sense at all understood that all they had to do to stay out of prison was stop robbing and hurting people. Those with a little less desire to maintain their freedom would take a few swings, thinking it was worth the risk. And keep in mind bad guys rarely are caught the first time they commit a crime. Most of the time they commit five to ten crimes before finally getting caught. If you want to go to prison in California you have to work at it. It would be easier to get a job and rent an apartment, but not as fun I guess. So in order to to trigger the Three Strikes penalty a bad guy has to commit multiple crimes and get convicted for two of them. That ain't easy to do. So yeah, the third crime is the last for at least twenty five years if the turd manages to get convicted. 

A couple of decades ago a crook who had been arrested multiple times, and convicted twice, threatened a kid in a restaurant and stole his pizza after slapping him. The district attorney decided to make that a third strike offense as he should have. Do democrats really think that kid enjoyed being slapped by that guy who then ate the kids pizza and laughed at him? They probably would agree that the kid may not have deserved the slap, but what's the big deal, is't only a pizza the kid could get another one. The bad guy was arrested and miraculously convicted, but at sentencing the judge said he couldn't justify imposing a twenty five year sentence for stealing a pizza. It became national news. Republicans want to put a black man in prison for twenty five years for stealing a pizza! So yeah. Some judges along with most democrats love criminals and think the rest of just don't pay parolees proper respect. It may sound bad, but 'beat and release' is far more effective than 'catch and release'. If a crook leaves the scene at two in the morning with only nine of his ten fingers after a 'counseling session' with the new community association security guard that crook will be looking for 'safer' neighborhoods in the future. And of course he isn't really missing a finger, it's in his pocket. Our vigilantes aren't thieves. So who needs the Three Strikes law when we can hire people to take care of the problem in less time and for a lot less money?

We need to provide a smooth path that allows all of our people to live their lives without fear of becoming victims of whatever bad guy decides to invade our privacy, steal our belongings and kill, rape, or otherwise maim us and the best way to achieve that is to hire good honest police officers to help enforce well thought out laws. Then we need a court system that respects the law and does its best to make sure criminals pay a price for their misdeeds. We need to elect honest politicians who care about the Constitution of the United States and understand that it protects all Americans and not just the one's they like. 

We really don't have the luxury of being able to engage in experiments that endanger all of our lives. We can't afford to indulge democrat madness that our system of government is messy and it is supposed to be messy. That's nonsense. It's actually maddeningly stupid to even entertain the idea that something that is messy, which I guess means chaotic, is even a good idea, it's no way to live. No, our system of government is meant to be just the opposite, an orderly system where all of the pieces work together. We have three separate but equal branches of government for a reason and anyone who thinks chaos is necessary for our survival is welcome to explain that to me until they finally see the futility in that mind boggling logic. 

War is messy, riots are messy, and crime is messy. Communism, Fascism, and Nazism and Socialism are all messy. Having an orderly system of government is necessary to our survival. Messy governments of necessity will not survive and in the chaos ensuing their demise vigilantes will attempt to take over. Democrats may think messiness is a good thing, and too many Republicans seem to agree with them, but the truth is that orderly and consistent government is far more beneficial than chaos and messiness. 

Vigilantes are messy. A constitutional system of government can help us avoid that terrible path.  

Second Amendment

If a group of people ever want to take over another group of people, and the second group of people doesn't want to be taken over, what does the first group need to do? Should they try an election process and try to persuade the second group to vote for their candidate, the one who wants to subvert their rights? Civilized people have tried that at times in the history of our planet with varying degrees of success. Mostly people have been ruled by whoever had the strongest army and wasn't nervous about murdering people by the trainload. It even seems like most people adapt well to that sort of ruler. After all it's simple; as long as they do what the king says they will have food, water and a roof. Sometimes there won't be enough food and water and the roof will be leaky and breezy, but most of the time all three will be available. 

Of course everything they own belongs to the king so he can come and take it anytime he wants. And if for whatever reason he gets low on something he will just come and take yours. If that means you have to skip a meal or two, you accept that hardship and eat whatever you can find. After all he is the king and he has been taking care of you by sharing his land and allowing you to live, literally. When the king gets tired of taking care of you he will send an army of very well armed and trained men to kill you and take away the land that was so generously provided you. That seems to be the most popular form of government in many parts of the world even today. Almost all of the areas we know as the Middle East are run that way as are many parts of Eastern Europe. Most of what we call Indochina is under that form of government. In India and China there are almost three billion people living under that form of government, and most of the African continent lives under the leadership of harsh dictators. 

There are probably a lot of reasons why people live like that. Fear is most likely the main reason. Their fear of being tortured and murdered is greater than their fear of starving to death. And organizing against an established tyranny requires a very strong leader with exceptional organizational skills. Usually when such an individual arises if their revolt is successful the new guy is as bad or even worse than the guy they just killed. So what's the point? Why support the new guy when he's going to turn on you and treat you worse than the murdering thug running your life right now? People will just save themselves the aggravation, keep their mouths shut and keep doing whatever the king tells them to do. Even if he lets them starve to death it's a lot simpler than following some charismatic leader who is going to do the exact same thing when you get him what he wants. 

So no, most people accept the life they have and go with it. Americans are different though. Maybe. At least for almost two hundred and fifty years they were different. When something is working why do some people want to mess with it? When a round wheel is working very well why would you experiment with one that is oval? Or square? Americans worked hard and bled profusely for the opportunity to form a government that was different from anything that had ever been attempted in the history of the world as far as anyone knew. It had three different branches of government, each with its own clearly defined duties and none of the branches had authority over the other two. 

There's no king! How do you operate a country without a king? You elect a president and you give him very limited power. Like no power. He is the Commander in Chief of the army, but he cannot declare war on anybody. He can't spend any money on the army either. Congress does that. And members of Congress represent the state where they live and are required to do what the people in their state want them to do. And every two to six years the states hold elections to see if they want to keep their representative or elect a new one. The Constitution of the United States was very carefully researched, planned and written. 

Americans, heretofore known as 'colonists' had just fought a long and desperate war against the King of England, arguably the most powerful man in the world at that time, and won. They felt pretty good about that so they formed a government that would allow them to keep their freedom for as long as they wanted. Even the men who worked and bled and in many cases gave everything they owned to build America were humble enough to know that it might not be permanent. The lust for power is very great and hard to control, but they were willing to try. Their first president could easily have crowned himself 'king' and most of the people would have accepted him as such. They were accustomed to having a king. Many, if not most, didn't even understand how this new fangled government was supposed to work. 

George Washington reluctantly accepted a second term as President of the United States, and refused to conside a third term. There were some people who thought he should become king of America, but he disagreed. He taught the people that no one is more important than anyone else. It had been his honor to help defeat the king of England, but now that fight was over and it was time to get down to the business of making their new country work. And for almost a quarter of a millennium it has worked. The United States of America is a prime example of a people who refuse to learn from history. Lady Liberty struggled in the beginning then gathered steam, won a second war with England, survived a brutal civil war and rebuilt stronger than before, helped win two world wars and prospered well into the decade of the 1960's then began to sit back and think of ways to destroy herself. 

The decline has been subtle and steady ever since. Women began burning their bras and draft dodgers afraid of getting hurt defending liberty and stopping the advance of Soviet Union style communism throughout the world, burned their draft cards. Money from the Soviet Union was flowing into the coffers of dissident anti government groups who began rioting and burning cars and buildings in big cities all across the country. The greatest nation the world was being destroyed from within. Black people wanted and deserved their rights, the rest were just screaming children. 

The United States is becoming weaker and our enemies are becoming stronger. Russia has invaded a neighbor and the world is witnessing the weakness of a once feared super power. Because of the resolve of the Ukrainian people the world is learning that the only reason Russia is a super power is on account of its nuclear stockpile. Ukraine has shown that the mighty Russian army is not much more than a mob of bullies who used to think they were tough, but are getting their butts kicked by an army nobody thought had much fight in them. The entire world watched while Putin amassed his army at the border of Ukraine and assumed the dictator was going to invade due to his desire to re-unite the old Soviet Union and we all thought the Ukrainian army would last four or five days, a week at the most, and it would all be over. The Ukrainian president was offered safe passage out of Ukraine where he could seek asylum in any country he wanted, but he refused to leave. 

He didn't want Ukraine to be under the thumb of a dictator who was going to rape the land and abuse the people. The Ukrainian people put up a ferocious battle and did a lot of damage to the Russian advance almost immediately. Bad weather ensured that Russian convoys remained on the main highways which made it easy for the Ukrainian army to attack and damage the trucks and armored vehicles. The world watched as the Russian invaders became bogged down and beleaguered by a much smaller force of determined soldiers and civilians. The Russian air force brutally and shamefully bombed civilians in an effort to get them to abandoned the war effort and seek mercy from the merciless. When Russian soldiers were able to  Of course it is horrible, but we have to constantly re-evaluate our role in this war. And we need a president with the brainpower to keep an open dialogue with Vladimir Putin. Putin is a very bad man who has proven over and over again that he cannot be trusted and he will do whatever is necessary to get what he wants. And right now he appears to want the entire country of Ukraine. The Chinese government is building up a very large military machine.

Democrats believe the lie they are being told by the Chinese dictator that they need aircraft carriers, ballistic missile submarines, long range bombers and fighter jets for their coastal defense. No one is threatening China. There is barely a need for coastal defense and aircraft carriers and ballistic missiles are not meant for coastal defense. Those are weapons used to project power around the world and why does China need to do that? Practically every country in the world wants to do business with China. They have about a billion and a half people, many of whom are willing to work for pennies a day. And those who are not willing to work for nothing are forced to perform labor for the state, sometimes for no pay at all. 

 

In America a city of 250,000 residents is a pretty big. In China 250,000 residents are locked up in small apartments that are part of huge industrial complexes where Chinese people are forced to work twelve to fourteen hours a day for a couple of dollars a day in factories that assemble millions of tons of products that are then shipped to the United States and sold to us. We don't allow slavery in our country, but we have no problem at all purchasing goods from other countries that are produced using slave labor. That's one of my biggest problems with buying things from just about any Asian country.

China is taking the problem a step further. Besides refusing to adequately house and feed their employees, they are taking the money they should be paying their employees and using it to purchase rifles and bullets, ships, bomber aircraft, ballistic missiles, and they are helping their attack dog, the dictator of North Korea, build ballistic missiles capable of launching nuclear warheads just about anywhere in the world. China is reported to have an army of over two million well equipped soldiers. The Chinese government is building a large navy and will be capable of transporting its two million man army anywhere in the world.

The Second Amendment is a vital part of our national security. We need to be able to defend ourselves against a rogue government in our own country. Very few people trust and respect the police more than I do, but they are tools of the government and many of them will obey a direct order especially if it has been given the appearance of being a lawful order by the legislature. And the fact that each citizen is the government has not escaped me. But today half of the citizens of this country want to take away our freedom. They want to allow people who are not citizens to vote. They even want to grant citizenship to anyone who sneaks across our border. They are circumventing our laws and allowing unelected officials to pass laws that are binding on everyone. 

The Environmental Protection Agency is allowed to levy fines and they have been given permission to raise their own army so they can enforce their laws. The same with the California Coastal Commission, the IRS and many other offices that were originally intended to advise Congress and then wait for legislators to pass laws. Laws are supposed to protect citizens from other people who intend to harm them, and sometimes to protect people from the harm that could be caused by the reckless actions of others. That's why we have building codes and health codes. The Department of Agriculture inspects farm product storage units and meat packing plants. The Constitution only grants Congress the authority to pass laws and there is a very good reason for that. It helps provide us protection from tyranny. Democrats don't like to make legislators carry that responsibility. That's why King Barry, aka Barak Obama, used to say things like, "If Congress fails to act I will!" Kind of a scary thing to contemplate if for those of us who value our freedom and great way of life. The president should never be thinking he can just pass laws if members of Congress disagree with him. They're called Executive Orders and they were never meant to give the president the authority to pass laws. Presidents who make statements like that are putting us on the road to tyranny and tearing up the roads that lead to prosperity. 

Rogue agencies like the EPA and the IRS and about a dozen others pass laws that are so punitive and expensive to follow that many small business owners can't even begin putting people to work and there is no one to appeal to. None of those agencies is accountable to anyone so they do whatever they want. The result is to stifle the growth of small business. We need to encourage innovation not strangle it. And every time we allow a rogue agency to exist we give some of our hard won freedoms. To the half of us that value liberty it isn't worth it so yes, we are a gun culture and I submit that every country in the world is a gun culture. The only difference is where the power lies. In most countries it lies with the central government. In the USA it lies with the public. At least for a few more years. So I'll keep my guns and I'll encourage my children and grandchildren to learn how to use firearms safely and wisely. And I'll continue to advocate for the Second Amendment as long as I live. 

Whenever a discussion comes up about the sanctity of the Second Amendment, democrats tell us that the only legitimate use for a firearm is hunting and you only need a single shot rifle to hunt (democrats must be excellent marksmen). They also like to tell us that the Founding Fathers, a group of people they loathe by the way, never envisioned the types of firearms that are available today. Probably not. So what? Would that make them trust the government more? Probably not. It is very important to remember that the reason for the Second Amendment  is to prevent a strong central government from abusing its citizens. In order to scare the public and make them hate semi automatic rifles democrats invented the term 'assault rifles' because they don't like them and they don't want anybody to like them. The goal is to disarm all Americans and a good place to start would be by taking away 'assault weapons'. Who would possibly need an assault weapon. Then they came up with the lie that assault weapons are used by soldiers and Marines when they are fighting foreign enemies. During the entire time I was an active duty Marine I never heard anyone call an M16 an 'assault rifle'. It was a gas operated, automatic shoulder weapon.  

There was no such thing as an 'assault rifle' until 1984. Prior to that they were just called 'semi automatic' rifles, which is the more accurate description. Nothing has changed since the Bill of Rights was ratified in the eighteenth century. People still have a need to defend themselves and predators still need to hurt people. Semi automatic rifles can be used to do a lot of harm, but that is not a reason to take them away from law abiding people who may need to defend themselves against a violent person who wants to harm them. Every political figure takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Democrats have decided that anyone in America who owns a firearm is a domestic enemy. Their justification for that ridiculous position is that there are police departments that employ armed and trained police officers to defend us. Civilized people don't use firearms for self defense, they wait for the police. I have no problem at all letting the police help when needed, but I do not want to surrender my right to defend myself to anyone but myself. 

There aren't enough police officers to issue one or two to every individual in the country and that is a very good thing. I think it's great that we employ police officers and detectives to help prevent crimes and to investigate and bring to justice criminals, but the police need all the help they can get. What I don't like is being told by some self righteous, pompous turd that I have to let the police protect me. Tracking down a criminal after he or she has killed someone and bringing that person to justice is fine, but stopping them from killing someone is much better. I'd rather bury a murderer than take one to trial and then if for some reason they are convicted spend the next fifty years of their lives feeding, housing, and providing them with medical doctors and dentists. We need good, well trained and equipped police officers, but more than that we need to be equipped to defend ourselves if necessary. Most of the time when they are needed most the police are at least ten to twenty minutes away. 

The police offices take a report and pass out bandages and within a few days the investigation ends up on a stack of other reports in front of an overworked detective who is doing his or her best to keep their head above water. The Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights because people have the God given right to defend themselves and shouldn't have to wait for a police officer to protect them. Democrats claim there is no God. The existence of God implies the existence of a being superior to a democrat. Yes, Uncle Joe, there is a God and He loves each of us. It is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard to try to sell the idea that the states  ratified the Second Amendment in 1791 because the legislature thought we would need to hunt in order to eat. How else would people find meat to eat? Hunting was not a fun seasonal activity to them it was a way of life. They could never have envisioned the supermarkets we have now with a variety of clean and well packaged meats. They wanted Americans to have the right to defend themselves. They knew that in the future it would be possible, even likely, that Americans would be in the position to either need to defend themselves against a rogue government, or launch a military action against a rogue government in order to preserve their freedoms.

So why should we be armed? I'm not saying we are anywhere near a situation where state and local militias need to take on the Federal government and as long as we can preserve the Bill of Rights we probably never will need such a revolution. I do believe the democrat party has been hijacked by people who mean to harm America. They oppose the police when they support such groups as Black Lives Matter and kneel in solidarity with them while they are calling for the murder of police officers. They grant Hero status to criminals like George Floyd, they glorify people with the 'courage' to change their gender, as if that were even possible. They support men competing against women in women's sports, they pass laws against so-called Hate Speech so they can stifle dissent, it's much easier to end a person's career than it is to take the time to educate people and engage in an open discussion.

Democrats cannot 'agree to disagree'. If you disagree with them you area  threat to our entire way of life. Why else would Uncle Joe say that Republicans are an existential threat to the  United States of America. I'm not a Republican, I consider the Republican party leadership timid and afraid to stand up for this country. I became a hard core Trumpster because he wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind no matter who might disagree with him. He had to run as a Republican because he could tell that democrat policies were not in line with the Constitution and he supports the freedoms we all enjoy. He angered and scared a lot of the so-called Republican 'leadership' because they are timid and afraid to publicly and openly embrace the ideals of the American Spirit. 

Donald Trump embraces the ideals of free speech and every other right guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and he wasn't afraid to say it. He is a little confrontational, but only because the democrats are so busy tearing down the ideas that made America great. Donald Trump fought against the leadership of both parties and won. Finally right before the election the Republican party leadership stopped fighting against Trump and reluctantly endorsed him. General George S. Patton famously stated that all real Americans hate a coward and I have always believed that. The most likely reason for democrats to oppose the Second Amendment is because they want to have complete control over everyone and in order to achieve that they need to disarm everyone except for the police departments and soldiers. Only their police officers can carry firearms. Once the people have been disarmed a political party can begin its absolute rule over everyone. 

There is also a real threat of invasion from other countries. How hard would it be to arm a hundred thousand people in Mexico and South America and then invade the United States via the Southern border? By the time our army could respond the entire Southwest would be under the control of the cartels and swarms of Chinese soldiers would be headed to the area to back them up. An armed citizenry could go a long way to stopping such an invasion or at least making it impossible for them to establish a strong foothold long enough for the army to arrive. There are no valid reasons for disarming people in the USA unless you are planning on doing something radical like fundamentally changing our form of government. Since I'm not a democrat or a Republican I can be completely honest about my reason for supporting the Bill of Rights; I like to practice shooting. It is something that is fun for me to do. 

I also like killing bad guys who want to harm me or people I care about and if I don't practice shooting on a regular basis my skills get rusty and I could be in danger of accidentally shooting someone I don't want to hurt. I don't hunt for a lot of reasons. The main reason is I don't really like hunting. There are several butcher shops and grocery stores that hunt for me. They provide clean fresh meat at a reasonable price and that's the way I like it. I have hunted before, sometimes with success and sometimes not, it's just a lot of time and expense and I don't like the whole thing. I do have a concealed weapon permit and I carry a firearm most of the time. And it's not in case I see an elk or a moose I want to bag. It's to protect myself and people I care about because I know that when the time comes the police will arrive long after the danger has passed and the damage has been done. No thanks I'll protect myself. I can buy my own bandages and I can take myself to the hospital if necessary. What I can't do is protect myself against an armed criminal if the government denies me that right. 

And keep in mind the fact that the government is taking away our rights at gunpoint if we let them. About half of the people in America want to take away that right from the other half. They are foolish enough to think it can't happen to them. And as hard as it is to believe, to me at least, they are comfortable with the thought of enduring the long ordeal of attending never ending court appearances, incompetent district attorney's and even more incompetent judges, and who knows what the jury will decide? And the people who wrote and debated the Bill of Rights specifically included  the Second Amendment to protect the citizenry from a rogue government. Anyone who cares to can look it up. A militia is a group of citizens who band together for self protection. If legislators are afraid of the people who elect them, then our system of government is working the way it should. If the people are afraid of the legislators they voted for then we are in very dangerous territory. 

The only way to secure our liberty is to retain our right to bear arms. If cities and states want to consider an ordinance requiring gun owners to practice regularly we can have that discussion, but I'm not sure a majority of gun owners will agree to that. The Federal government should never be allowed to pass laws that go against any of the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. That was the reason for the formation of the Judicial branch of the government. They are supposed to have the courage and the integrity to read the Constitution and then decide if a law is constitutional or not. Even if they agree with the petitioner if a law is not covered by the Constitution the United States Supreme Court has the responsibility to set their personal feelings aside and let the members of Congress rewrite the law so that it conforms with the Constitution. 

No government official has the authority to pass laws that go against the Constitution. So yes, guns can be dangerous and in the wrong hands they can be used to commit horrible crimes but in the right hands they can be used to help people and secure the liberty of millions of people. When enough Americans take the side of any party that wants to subvert the Constitution by whatever means, be it an armed take over or laws passed by a Supreme Court that is hostile to the Constitution, this country will descend into chaos and confusion and that alone will destabilize the entire world. 

There is only one country on earth that is trying to make life better for everyone else and that's the United States of America. And we have the strength to do it. We must never lose sight of the importance of rugged individualism and American exceptionalism. America is and always has been a meritocracy. People are rewarded for their efforts and continually compete to make something better. We succeed through hard work and dedication. Everybody doesn't get a trophy, grades are important and if you want to get into a great university you have to earn that opportunity. We are becoming a country that devalues the importance of hard work. Instead of being dedicated to improving our society we are focusing on making sure our organizations are racially diverse, lowering standards to get into occupations such as medical doctors and lawyers. Our new FAA director used to be a bus driver in Los Angeles. He doesn't know a thing about airplanes or air travel. We are embarrassing ourselves.

We need the Bill of Rights now just as much as we did in 1791. Half of the people in this country want to dilute the ideals that made America the great nation it is today. May we always remain a free country that values hard work and sacrifice over indolence and entitlement. Without the Second Amendment it will be impossible to maintain our individual liberty which is the ideal we were founded upon. 

Constructive Criticism

I have some constructive criticism for the Democrats; stop your coup against the country! I'm serious. You lost the last civil war you started at a huge loss to yourselves and a lot of innocent people and you'll get the same result from your next one. During the recent 2024 election you outdid yourselves. In the past you've stuck to stuffing ballot boxes, registering dead people to vote, registering illegal aliens, and where possible programming voting machines to register votes for your candidates that were actually cast for a different candidate. 

This time you were over the top. Following the Obama playbook of using administration officials whose loyalty was to him and not the Constitution you used the FBI and the attorney general, along with sympathetic judges and district attorneys to lie to judges (who didn't seem to mind), file false criminal charges against an opposition candidate, manufacture false evidence in order to secure convictions from sympathetic juries, steal an opposition candidate's money and finally, as a last resort since none of your other tactics were successful, you tried to murder an opposition candidate twice. 

Without any evidence you called Donald Trump a traitor thousands of times. You falsely claimed he was going to declare himself to be the dictator of America, he was going to put people he didn't like in prison, he was the puppet of Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Xi Jingping, and he was a danger to our Constitutional Republic. There was a time when, although you have always been gifted cheaters, we could talk to each other and agree that everyone wouldn't get what they wanted, but we could agree to certain improvements and move on. This year democrats are going so far as to cancel Thanksgiving dinner with anyone who voted for Donald Trump. 

Donald Trump is not a traitor or a danger to the precious freedoms we all enjoy. If anyone is a threat to our republic it clearly is the party that weaponized the IRS and the DOJ during the Obama era, and more recently weaponized the DOJ, the FBI, the Surgeon General, and other federal agencies. Filing false charges against an opposition candidate is a new low for either party and represents a serious danger to our precious constitutional rights. You need to do better. I seriously believe that most democrats love our country and cherish our freedoms, but thesy are so blinded by tradition that they don't see what's right in front of them. It's the leadership of the party that is actively attempting to topple the Constitution and install a monarch. 

Barak practically admitted it when he made several statements about the flaws in the Constitution. He said it posed too many constraints on what the federal government could do to citizens, but it didn't say anything about what the government could do for the people. That is the point. The people must remain free as much as possible from government interference in our lives. Everyone in America has the right to achieve whatever their dreams are and government officials are tasked with creating an environment where that can happen. We do pass laws against criminal activity. We regulate safe travel with things like speed limits and other laws designed to make travel safer. There are laws against armed robbery and theft and assault, all of which have the goal of making Americans safe. 

Obama spoke about how the Constitution doesn't say anything about creating a more fair distribution of wealth so all Americans can benefit from the wealth of America. There is a good reason for that. The United States of America is a meritocracy. It rewards hard work instead of encouraging laziness. Of course some people will work hard and still not succeed. The beauty of America is that they can keep working hard and still build a good life for themselves. This country was built by people who came here looking for a better life; rugged individualism is what made this country great, not free loading and not everyone who requests permanent residency for citizenship will have their requests granted. Without any proof Obama accuses American immigration laws of being prejudiced against people solely based on the color of their skin. Americans allow legal immigration from anywhere in the world. The only thing they object to is illegal immigration. Trust me, I understand why democrats need more illegal immigration. It is the fastest way to bring in millions of people, shelter them, and teach them how to register to vote and vote democrat. And he still insists that black people are discriminated against when in fact no one in America is discriminated against because of their race. There are a few chowderheads who find it easy to hate others, very few. Besides hate is one of the democrats favorite tools. There are no laws prohibiting black people from doing whatever they want to do or going wherever they want to go, but Obama still claims we haven't done enough to improve race relations. 

Finally, based on the recent election results, Black and Hispanic people are seeing how they've been used and tossed aside by the democrat party and they voted for Donald Trump. Labor unions are also showing signs of waking up to the reality of the democrat party and many of them voted for Trump this time around. As long as the Democratic (so called) Party continues its coup against our Constitution I hope people continue to leave them behind. The United States of America is a great country. America doesn't have any problem attracting people from all walks of life and all professions. We never have. Our problem is keeping out people that no country wants; Terrorists and other criminals.

Only democrats want to invite them in and that's got to stop if we want to maintain our liberties. No country is perfect so democrats are going to have to live with the fact that some pretty good people may be passed over by our legal immigration process. Not everyone who wants in will be allowed. We need a scale of needs and requirements for permanent residency, and the top of the list needs to be the requirement that persons seeking legal status here do so by making application at the ports of entry. We need democrats to get back on board. The Democratic Party used to stand for principles that were bold and worth fighting for. Now they stand for division and chaos. They used to be the conscience of America. That was in the past. It was a democrat president that ignited the flame that put the first man on the moon. Now they are inviting terrorists to enter the country and plot their next attack. 

They used to argue for the need to help people who were in need. Over the last sixty years they've gradually morphed into a mob of people who cheat and lie and seek power for the sake of wielding more power. They are so afraid of losing elections that they invite people to illegally cross our borders by the millions so they can vote for democrat candidates without knowing anything about America or the person for whom they are voting. In the past democrats were never the candidates of law and order but that was ok. Some of us were overly concerned with law and order and tried to put other people down if they were a little off color, and I don't mean racially. Democrats were never particularly religious or overly pious. They drank and smoked and used colorful language. Republicans were often overly pious and judgmental. They were a little too quick to accuse a person of being lazy when the truth was they were working as hard as anyone else, but their luck or timing or whatever wasn't working for them. 

Those were the days when members of the two major parties didn't always agree, but they did respect each other enough to talk about their differences. Those days need to return. Today it's the Republicans who are less judgmental. You can talk to a Republican about anything without being hated for your views. No Republican is going to use violence against a democrat just because he or she disagrees with what they are saying. Democrats are quick to disown family members now if they vote the wrong way. If you disagree with a democrat they don't just think you are wrong, they have to destroy you. Worse yet they have finally found an issue that is so divisive that I don't see how there can ever be agreement and it's an explosive issue. The basic element of humanity is a person's gender. We are all born female or male, but democrats say that isn't so. They say a person can change their gender by altering their physical appearance which is wrong. 

Democrats think a man who says he was supposed to have been born female can actually become a female. Not true. They can change their appearance to some extent but they will still be men. This new low for democrats will destroy our civilization. Many surgeons are good at what they do and making a man look like a woman is something they have become very good at so men find themselves looking a what they think is an attractive woman only to find out they are wrong, embarrassingly wrong. Men don't want to date men unless they have a mental defect. When men can't tell if they are looking at a woman or a man who has altered his appearance to look like a woman they will become discouraged. They won't start dating men, they'll just stick to themselves and play video games or something. And what about a woman who really wants to meet a man? 

This is how democrats will destroy America. If there is a way to accomplish their coup against the Constitution this will be it and they are dead serious. They've invented words such as 'transgender' and 'homophobic' to describe their newly invented social norm. This is the confusion that will help them overthrow the greatest nation the world has ever seen and one of the tools they will use to achieve their goal is illegal immigration; millions of democrat voters crossing the border illegally to vote for a party and a candidate they know nothing about. Thanks to democrats men in the military can have surgery done to make them look like women and it will be done at government expense and it isn't cheap. They get paid leave while they recover from this unnecessary surgery. While they are in recovery they are not available to fight an enemy that we could and often do face. Between the homosexuals recovering from unnecessary elective surgery and women who are pregnant a fairly large percentage of the military force is unnecessarily out of commission for a significant period of time.

While they are out of commission guess who has to face the rigors of combat? Their fellow soldiers. Men who don't want to be women and women who aren't pregnant. We need a coherent fighting force not a military made up of freaks and people who are too sick to perform their duties. I know that pregnancy doesn't mean a woman is sick, but it does mean she is not fit for duty as a part of a fighting force and men who are out of commission due to an elective surgery that wasn't necessary are even worse. Boot them out! Let them pretend they are women somewhere else. Democrats say they are just as capable as any other soldier, but it's a lie and if you could have an intelligent conversation with them they would admit they were wrong, but you cannot have that conversation because all they do is shout at you that you are a bigot and 'homophobic', or you hate women. And of course they will always manage to label anyone who disagrees with them about anything at all as a racist. They render words meaningless.  

If we can't find a way to fix this lack of ability to speak to each other with civility the United States of America is doomed and anyone with a clear mind can see that. 

State of the Union

 I'm still wondering why anyone votes democrat anymore. How does that even happen? Democrats say everybody lies so it doesn't matter which party you support yet they continue to vote democrat every time. Let me share a recent tale from Uncle Joe during the State of the Union address. I'm sure there were several lies told, but my favorite was when he said that Billionaires don't pay their fare share of taxes, which may actually be true, but he seemed to be implying that democrats wanted to do something about it, as if they had that kind of power. Then he said that Republicans in Congress wanted to stop Medicare and Social Security payments. 

I'm sure there are some people who believe that, I'm skeptical. When Republicans in the room shouted 'liar' and booed him Uncle Joe put his other foot in his mouth; he said he was willing to show us the proposal if we contacted his office and requested a copy. He also said it had the names of the Republicans who submitted the proposal. So ok, I'd like to see it. If he's telling the truth I'll know who to oppose next election cycle. If he's not, which is what I'd bet if I could find anyone brave enough to bet against me, then I'll know he's told just one more lie in a very long string of lies. You can't just stop paying people when they've spent years investing in it. Democrats have convinced at least half of the people in America that people who receive social security and medicare are getting some sort of government welfare which is a lie and once again they know it's a lie. Democrats thrive on internal strife. They love turning people from different races against each other and women against men and rich against poor, anything that divides Americans as a people democrats will do it. 

A unified America is a nightmare for democrats. How can they get black to vote for them if black no longer need government handouts? How can they get women to vote for them if women ever find out that they are not being cheated, that they are paid the same as men for the same work and what if women find out they do have a right to an abortion if they want that, just not while the baby is being born. There has to be some limits. I don't know this, but hopefully most women do oppose infanticide. A united America would create more successful people from all backgrounds. Successful people don't want the government involved in every aspect of their lives. Democrats need needy people. And democrats need to make sure that young Americans resent older Americans. Kids need to realize that they are paying social security taxes just like everyone else and someday they will also benefit from the savings. 

What Uncle Joe was suggesting is that in a plan that was proposed by a Republican from Florida named Richard Scott, and has been rejected by every thinking member of Congress, Senator Scott wants all federal laws to sunset every five years and reconsidered by Congress. Frankly that sounds stupid to me and according to him it is not targeted at Medicare and Social Security, which it looks like just about all of the members of Congress, regardless of political party, consider entitlements. An entitlement is something a person expects to get even if they don't do anything to earn, or deserve it. Americans have been paying for their Social Security retirement since 1935. They've been paying for Medicare since 1965. 

I have no idea how politicians become so stupid. If a person pays for something over a period of time had has been promised that at some point in their lives they will have earned a benefit for that payment, when the time comes for the entity that has been collecting the payment has to pay that is not an entitlement. That is paying a debt that is owed to the individual who has been paying a premium for years. Simple logic will tell even the dumbest democrat or Socialist that a person who has been contributing to Social Security and Medicare is not asking for an entitlement. They are demanding to paid what they are owed. It looks like most democrats don't even know how either program works. It is obvious that democrats hate social security and medicare. They want young people and immigrant to think it's something older Americans get for free so they promise young people and immigrants that, 'if you vote for me I will fight to make sure you receive the same free benefit as retired people get.' Then they start shouting, "Medicare for all! Medicare for all!" Never telling the truth about Medicare, that it costs retirees a lot of money, and even if a person is receiving Medicare they still have to buy a supplemental insurance policy to cover the things not covered by Medicare. And Medicare doesn't cover any dental needs. I really think they are lying intentionally when they make such claims, I don't see how they could be that ignorant of how the system works. 

In fact they keep robbing from people who are owed Social Security payments. They use Social Security accounts for whatever they want then promise to pay it back. When insurance executives do that they are sent to prison. And Medicare baffles democrats even more. They keep telling everyone that it's given to all Americans over 65 years old for free. I'm over 65 years old and I pay almost two hundred dollars a month for a government insurance plan that only pays eighty percent of my medical bills. I admit that sounds like a lot, but so is the twenty percent that is left so I purchased a supplemental plan to cover the twenty percent Medicare doesn't pay and hospitalization. Then to get the prescription portion costs another premium, so-called Medicare part D. So you have parts A&B, and part D. it is confusing and it is a government managed program, but it is not welfare for geezers it's something geezers paid into for years and finally get to collect. 

Somehow democrats have figured out that if I pay the government two hundred dollars a month for something that I'm receiving an entitlement. That I'm asking for something I didn't earn. I paid a Medicare tax every time I got paid, and now I'm paying almost two hundred a month to keep this 'benefit' that democrats claim I never earned, and the Medicare premium has increased a couple of times over the years. I'd love to hear Richard Scott and Kevin McCarthy explain to all of us how Medicare and Social Security are entitlement programs. And they are both Republicans. I expect democrats to lie in an effort to make themselves look better, but not Republicans. Uncle Joe did it when he claimed that Republican legislators wanted to Sunset Medicare and Social Security when in fact the proposal came from one of the dumbest Republicans in Congress, roughly equal to the smartest democrat in Congress. 

In my opinion any legislator, Republican, democrat, Socialist, Independent, whatever, who thinks Social Security or Medicare are entitlement programs should be fired, voted out of office, impeached, whatever is the quickest method of getting them out of office. I'd even force them to run down the streets of Washington D.C. naked no matter how old or ugly they are. Any legislator who thinks we need to raise the debt ceiling should be given the same treatment. Taxes are way too high. There is a lot of theft occurring through Congress. Government contracts are being handed out to friends of legislators and too often there is almost no oversight. I'm sure that Billions of dollars are wasted or stolen each year due to lack of government oversight.

Uncle Joe is possibly in the top two percent of the biggest thieves ever to work in the Federal government. Somehow we allowed him to rise to the highest office in the land. He bragged about withholding a billion dollars from a foreign government if they didn't fire a prosecutor who was conducting a criminal investigation of a company who was paying Uncle Joe's son millions of dollars. He was only the vice president in those days, but it worked. The prosecutor was fired and the investigation stopped. Too about half of country, including some Republicans, that sounds like corruption. We haven't usually condoned firing prosecutors for conducting criminal investigations even if we happened to like the person or groups who are being investigated. We used to be opposed to corrupt law enforcement practices now we reward them. And worse Uncle Joe has a drug addled son who has no known abilities at all other than he was able use his father's influence to get accepted to Georgetown University, and then Yale Law School and somehow he was able to stumble across those very prestigious campuses enough times to help them feel somewhat comfortable awarding him a degree. His father's influence has also allowed him to become a millionaire 'working' for foreign companies who pay him tens of millions of dollars for doing nothing other than provide access to the political operations in the United States. 

Uncle Joe also wants us to believe he has created tens of thousands of high paying jobs. Too many politicians want us to believe they create jobs. I'm not sure how that is even possible. They award contracts to people who then hire other people to do jobs that need to be done. So if we are paying people to do work that doesn't need to be done I guess that could count as 'creating' a job, but I'm not sure that is a good way to spend tax money. There could be times when that is necessary but any job like that should definitely be Sunsetted. Democrats have perfected the art of creating problems and then solving the problem they either created themselves or helped to create.

We were just the target of a massive worldwide pandemic that most people won't acknowledge came from a laboratory in China. Wuhan China to be precise. The lab is called the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus Lab. Democrats won't even consider the possibility that the virus spread from there. That simply is ridiculous according to them because there are bats in Wuhan that can spread the virus so that's where the coronavirus started; it started in an open air market down the street. They don't even want to consider the possibility that it came from that lab and eventually thanks to Rand Paul, Republican Senator from Kentucky, we got a glimpse of the reason why democrats are so scared of investigating that lab. 

The United States of America has been spending who knows how much money creating viruses in that lab supposedly in an effort to create vaccinations for those viruses. That sounds a little bit stupid to me. In fact it sounds very suspicious to me because viruses can and are used as weapons to deliberately infect large populations of people. And we were and probably still are spending an unknown number of millions of dollars to create viruses that can be used as weapons in a war, then trying to create a vaccination against it, and we are doing that in the middle of one of our most dangerous enemies. Smart. This points to the greatest weakness of Donald Trump's presidency. He retained people who work for the Deep State in America. No one talks about the Deep State anymore, but it still exists and it is just as dangerous as ever. I doubt that President Trump even knew about the work our country has been paying for in that lab. If he had known he might not have allowed Dr. Fauci to shut down this entire country.

For two years nothing moved in America. Store shelves were empty. Very few people were allowed to go to work and the few who did had to wear a mask over their faces covering their mouths and noses. It didn't matter that no one knew if the masks were effective, and it turned out that they really weren't. Traffic was a breeze because everyone was afraid to leave their homes. I travelled the country during the pandemic. I practically had the freeways to myself. There were a few hotels that remained open and they were empty. And everyone was scared. It was like, "Please don't come too close to me, I don't want to die!" Meanwhile people were dying in pretty impressive numbers, but we'll never know the real count because the overwhelming majority of people who supposedly died  from the coronavirus already had a terrible disease that was going to kill them in a short period of time anyway. The coronavirus just speeded up the process a little. And that is not a callous description of people dying, it is an accurate picture of what was really happening; healthy people were not dying of Covid, people with compromised systems were. And democrats were locking them up in retirement homes and hospitals completely isolated from family and friends, left alone to die in a terrible situation. 

Healthy people weren't dying from the virus. Sick people were. I know dozens of people who survived the virus and for many of them it wasn't that bad. And I'm talking about old people. Old people were supposed to be the people who were dying the fastest, but not so. The only old people who were dying were sick old people. So anyway the country was shut down. Restaurants were closed, many small markets were closed. Lots of other types of businesses were ordered shut down and guess what? Unemployment skyrocketed. 

Funny how that works. Democrats weren't worried because all they had to do was pass a law prohibiting apartment owners from evicting people who could no longer pay their rent, the same went for anyone who rented any dwelling so a potential housing crisis was kicked down the road for awhile. Then they probably started mailing vouchers to people who had been laid off to help them feed themselves and their kids. The American economy was getting wrecked. We had to stand six feet apart in any public place. And wear masks over our faces or risk being arrested or cited for a violation. Most county sheriff's refused to go that far, but a few did actually arrest for refusing to wear a mask in public places such as grocery stores and gas stations. Since the police didn't know what section to arrest them for most of the arrests were for trespassing. I have no idea what the conviction rate was. Dr. Fauci's specialty seems to be infectious and imune-repressive illnesses, especially HIV/AIDS. He has shut down the most influential country in the world and nobody understands why. During that time the United States spearheaded an effort to produce a vaccination in record time to be used on everyone in the world before anyone knew how safe it was and there have been some serious and real safety concerns. How effective is it? Nobody knows. I took the first two doses because without it there were some places of entertainment we weren't allowed to enter with proof vaccination, some restaurants had the same rule, and no one without proof of vaccination was allowed to fly commercial carrier. 

Fauci himself has stated he has no idea where the virus came from or how it spreads, if it is always fatal, what groups of people are at the biggest risk? He doesn't know any of that, but we just let him stop all commerce. Kids could no longer go to school. Teachers could only teach online. Resorts were closed. Most hotels and restaurants were closed. Novelty stores closed. Even Hallmark! No more cards sent to people we care about. Except for Amazon. What a lucky break for Jeff Bezos! Democrats constantly claim that they hate billionaires who don't pay their share of taxes, which is a bogus claim, they pay enough in taxes, and possibly the wealthiest man in the world gets a gift from Covid-19. It was just about the only way to shop for necessary items for over a year. Grocery stores were open, but there was very little in them for anyone to buy.   

Jeff doesn't pay his people very well, but he pays enough tax I'm pretty sure. Rather than pick on Jeff for not adequately pay his employees, the poor guy is rumored to only be worth $120,000,000,000, I want to get back to the imaginary democrat solutions. Now that the pandemic is over and Anthony Fauci has given the green light, guardedly, to get back to work, people are going back to work and unemployment numbers are looking good finally. So Uncle Joe stands in front of all of us and claims he has created 800,000 thousand "good paying jobs" in the two years since he became president. I don't know what a democrat considers a "good paying job" for one thing, but how is allowing people to return to work after ordering them to stay home even considered creating jobs? 

And just to prove that the Deep State is still alive and well, Uncle Joe reminded us all that he ran for President to 'fundamentally change things'. King Barry said he wanted to fundamentally change America as well. How exactly do you define 'fundamental change?' Wait a minute!! Why do we need 'fundamental change?' That phrase should at the very least cause every single adult person in the country to ask the question, "What is he talking about, we should always be looking for reasons to improve, but what does he mean by making fundamental changes?"

I haven't heard anyone ask that question and it's an important question. Barak Obama wanted to redefine what the United States of America stood for. He thought Americans had too much freedom. He complained that the Constitution put too many constraints on government authority and said the government should be more involved in our lives. Democrats don't like the concept of the sovereignty of the individual, preferring that the individual be obedient to the government bureaucracy. For them we weren't endowed by any Creator with any rights because there is no Creator. Everything we have is a gift from other men who have formed governments to rule over people and provide for them and in return for the 'gifts' provided by the government we give to government leaders whatever they require because it is through their wisdom and benevolence that we are provided for.

They want a king or queen to rule over us. King Barry worked toward that goal and via Executive Orders was getting closer to achieving that goal. He would have succeeded if the American people hadn't come to their senses and realized what he wanted to do was take America apart. Bloody Hilary was supposed to complete the coup, but luckily Donald Trump spoiled that plan. By any reasonable standard the United States of America is the greatest nation in the world so making 'fundamental change' shouldn't be on any person's mind. King Barry admitted that he wanted to fundamentally change America and now Uncle Joe is saying the same thing. 

And no one seems to care. Uncle Joe said he wanted fundamental change to ensure that the economy works for everybody, but he didn't specify where it needed improvement or how he envisioned making those improvements. His statement is actually scary to me. I don't want to fundamentally change this country. I want to make improvements wherever we can, but to tear down and start over just doesn't make sense. When Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the House spoke of fundamental change he was careful to define what he meant. Democrats are always eager to increase spending and increase the tax burden on the American people if necessary in order to achieve their goals, but they never want to talk about spending cuts. And sometimes spending cuts are necessary. To Kevin McCarthy that represents a fundamental change in how we view the budget and put certain constraints on spending in order to reduce the tax burden on Americans. The sad truth is that neither party is willing to admit that we most likely need a combination of spending cuts and increased taxes for a couple of years. From what I can tell the biggest financial burden being carried by this country is the interest on the debt, and I don't pretend to understand who is owed the debt. What I do understand is inflationary spending and the importance of avoiding drowning in debt. Fifty years ago a gallon of gasoline cost about thirty five cents a gallon. Now it is many multiples of that and the same goes for everything else. One thing Kevin McCarthy is right about is the need for reduced spending. Republicans don't want to admit that we probably need at least a modest increase in taxes. If McCarthy ever finds the courage to propose meaningful budget reform it will be entertaining to hear the lies from democrats. "Republicans want to raise taxes on poor people! Republicans want to eliminate Social Security and Medicare! Republicans want to..." It will be the first time anyone will ever hear democrats claim that they are opposed to raising taxes because there won't be a corresponding wasteful spending plan to go along with it. 

In his State of the Union address the only thing Uncle Joe addressed specifically was Medicare and Social Security and he said Republicans want to stop payments, which is a lie. The truth is that neither party cares much about the beneficiaries of either program. According to the Social Security Administration website Social Security went untaxed from 1939 to 1983 when Republicans and democrats held hands and voted to tax Social Security benefits. The move might have been necessary because at the time most self described experts were saying there was a real danger of Social Security running out of money in a couple of decades if something wasn't done to save it. As usual it is difficult to say if the tax actually saved Social Security, probably not. I'm sure they all felt good about the decision, but it was probably a mistake, and then ten years later when democrats finally controlled everything they engaged in a feeding frenzy of spending on anything they could imagine. Showing their true attitude toward helping retirees they increased the Social Security tax from the already too high fifty percent they settled for in 1983 to eighty five percent in 1993. This obvious power grab cost them dearly at the polls when they lost both chambers of Congress during the mid term elections.  

Democrats' lust for power and spending was so great that they overwhelmingly lost both houses of Congress in 1995. Interestingly it appears that in 1983 Republicans and democrats were able to talk to each other and agree to accomplish goals together. Democrats wanted a greater than fifty percent tax on Social Security and  Republicans wanted something less. In the end they voted on a fifty percent increase. It's no surprise that most of what Uncle Joe said in his speech was untrue. He didn't create 800,000 good paying jobs, they didn't create any jobs at all. He said the last Congress passed three hundred new laws and that is frightening all by itself. It is highly unlikely that legislators had time to write and understand all three hundred laws, who knows what those laws were or how they affect the rest of us. They had to be passed based strictly on a partisan vote most of the time. There are a few people like Mitt Romney and a couple others who regularly vote democrat, that's what allows Uncle Joe to call it bipartisan agreement. 

I looked and looked for some sign that Uncle Joe's administration was capable of openness and honesty and couldn't find any. Especially his claim that he had a proposal on his desk from certain Republicans claiming that they wanted to stop social security payments. There are two Republican Senators who have made suggestions regarding Social Security reforms in political speeches made more than ten years ago. Uncle Joe just plain lied. There is no Republican plan to cut social security, period. Democrats never trust us to know what they really want because they can't. Education will always be their enemy so long as they oppose the Constitution. They always resort to fear and force and misinformation. That is why they wanted the Ministry of Misinformation; so they could intimidate anyone who disagrees with them. And what they didn't count on is that even most people who vote for them never listen to them. They have always voted democrat and they always will and when the new king they finally put into office ties a noose around their necks before kicking a chair out from under them they will be crying and wondering what went wrong. Incredibly they will most likely be blaming Republicans for their plight.  

We are fortunate that Republicans now control the House of Representatives. I admit to being nervous about McCarthy and Scott. I hate it when Republicans refer to Social Security and Medicare as entitlements. Those are programs we paid for and the payments were promised to all of us and we have a right to demand payment, not beg. The Supplemental Security Income scheme (SSI) is a brainchild of democrats and was passed in an effort to get more votes from illegal aliens and it may actually impact Social Security in some way, it was passed in 1993 when democrats controlled everything. In the very next election cycle they lost their majority in both legislatures but since it was not a presidential election year they retained the White House. It was that Republican Congress that saved Bronco Billy's reputation. Given another two years democrats would have succeeded in turning America into a completely socialist country. Newt Gingrich saved Clinton's butt. 

There will never be a democrat Speaker that saves a Republican president. They appear to be genetically predisposed to destroying America. They literally can't help themselves. The idea of individual liberty is repugnant to them. Just like the Tory's during the American Revolution wanted to save King George democrats today want to dispatch the Constitution and enthrone a monarch in America once again. Hopefully that will never happen.
