DEMOCRACY

There are so many sub categories of types of government that it is hard to really identify government systems. We tend to think of Democratic, Socialist, Fascist, Nazi, and Communist, that's pretty much it. This oversimplification may be useful for elementary school children and possibly even into high school, but once we leave high school we should be able to learn the difference between how different governments work. Nazism, Fascism, and Communism always fail. Democracy and Socialism can work with a little bit of tweaking. Nazism and Fascism are led by military dictators who force the citizenry to conform to a narrow set of rules  and social norms. They are characterized by brutality and fear to keep a nation together. Communism is characterized by its class warfare which supposedly ends up with everyone in the country owning everything in common. Everyone does equal work and receives equal pay according to their abilities and needs; "From each according to his abilities; to each according to their needs." It assumes that everyone has the same goals and that everyone will contribute to the common good according to their abilities, and that there will be no envy or ruling class. Communism really makes no sense and will always fail.

Socialism is similar, but everything is owned by the government who then doles out jobs and businesses according to the desires of a ruling monarchy. When properly blended with a healthy capitalist system Socialism can work. Democracy is another form of government that cannot succeed in its pure form. When everything is decided by a strict majority vote the result will ultimately be a society where everyone will be ruled by a well armed class of people who will then always vote against the minority.

What democrats seem to have a hard time with is the fact that the United States has some aspects of a democracy, we have public elections, but the elections are tempered by a brilliant system of checks and balances that are intricately connected. We are a Republican form of government. We hold public elections wherein eligible people are allowed to vote, but we don't elect a monarch. We elect a president who has carefully defined duties and wields limited power. We have representatives who represent the states and counties and ensure that the majority doesn't smother the minority. Each person living the United States has a set of rights that no governing body can violate without consequences.

I don't know about everybody but in elementary school I was taught we are governed by a democratic form of government. I guess my teachers were confused by the fact that we all are allowed to vote, but that's just one component of our system of government. The president has very little actual power, the representatives have their well defined duties and the judges also have limits on their power. The most dangerous vulnerability to our system is the judiciary branch. They are supposed to study the Constitution and then write opinions based on what the Constitution directs us to do.

And for a couple of hundred years judges had enough integrity to know that they had to make decisions based upon what the document actually says and even if they thought a law had been passed that made sense to them they had the ability to tell the legislators responsible for the law to make clarifications and corrections before writing a final legal opinion. This takes time, but it is worth it because it safeguards freedoms we need and enjoy. Over the past fifty years judges have been interjecting their personal opinions into their rulings and they've decided such things as a woman's Constitutional right to an abortion where it doesn't exist. The Supreme Court tortured one or more of the amendments to the constitution and decided that abortion was a privacy issue and therefore protected by the Constitution. Somehow the same law doesn't extend to my right to privately abort my neighbor who keeps parking his car in front of my driveway.

And the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. The Second Amendment is primarily meant to ensure that everyone living in this country has the right to self defense. Democrats have decided that since we have police departments and police officers carry firearms the rest of us don't need to be armed so in their opinion the Second Amendment should be repealed. And since America is generally a safe place to live there are a lot of people here who agree with that. Until someone comes at them with a knife or a club and stabs or beats them to death, then they think something like, "Gee if I had some sort of firearm right now I could be calling the police after I shot this guy who is stabbing me to death, instead of bleeding to death so someone else could sign a crime report assigning some police officer the responsibility of finding my killer."

The Constitution works if we let it. It could have been amended to allow for the freedom of slaves if Democrats could have exercised some self control and engaged in a debate instead of firing heavy artillery at American military installations. Restraint has never been a problem for democrats; they simply don't see the need for them to control themselves. People who assume they are always right seldom see a need to discuss their position. If someone doesn't like it then democrats will find a judge who will allow them to turn law enforcement agency against the offending person. Once you've disarmed your opposition you can use your police officers and soldiers to beat them into submission. And it will all have been done constitutionally because judges who don't like the Constitution will have written so many unconstitutional rulings and passing their own laws that democrats will always get their way.

And that is the fundamental weakness of the Republican party; they believe in the Constitution and they are willing to try to work within its parameters even when it doesn't allow them to have their way. Republicans will talk to anyone about anything as long as the discussion remains somewhat civil. And with some exceptions Republicans are honest. I can only think of one Republican president who actually lied to the people of the United States; George H.W. Bush promised to never support new taxes on the American people then he signed a bill that raised a variety of taxes including the income tax. He became a one term president. He should have vetoed that law. Live and learn.

The biggest lie ever told to the American people was from Barak Obama who said that we needed a law that would provide medical insurance for everyone in the United States. It was to be a government run insurance scheme that wouldn't cost anybody anything, and no one would ever have to pay for medical care again because the government would cover all of the cost. Half of the people in the country jumped for joy because democrats don't realize that the government doesn't have any money except for the money it steals from the people through 'taxes'. And they derive the power to steal money from the people. Of course democrats deceive themselves into believing that means only people like Bill Gates and Mark Zukerberg will have their taxes increased, but not so. In fact men in that category often don't pay any taxes at all. No, the money is extracted, at bayonet point if necessary, from the half of the people who  are jumping for joy as well as those who can think for themselves and say, "Wait a minute. This Free Health Care is going to cost me a lot of money and I already have good insurance." I'm not sure when it dawned on everyone that not only were they about to lose their medical insurance, but their doctor as well.

And that's why B.O. had to promulgate the Big Lie. "Hey! If you like your inadequate insurance plan you've been using for years you can keep it. If you like your old blind and lame doctor keep going to him or her. We're not takin' nuthin' from ya, we're just offering something better."

Half of us knew that was a lie and another democrat promise that would be impossible to deliver and half of us continued jumping up and down clapping their hands, "Oh boy oh boy oh boy! The government is finally going to force greedy millionaires to take care of me!" The rest of us braced for a real shellacking and we all got it. As soon as the so-called, and badly misnamed America Care Act was forced on everybody by a midnight vote on a Friday night, just about everyone in the country lost their health insurance.

"What do you mean my doctor isn't covered by this great new government paid plan?" And then, "Wait, what do you mean I still have to buy insurance the president said the government was going to pay for it!" "Oh yeah", the president chuckled, "I forgot to tell you, the whole thing was a lie." Welcome to affordable insurance premiums with deductibles and copays that are so high none of you are going to be able to use the new insurance, and each insurance policy comes with a list of doctors and hospitals so you will probably have to find a new doctor and the hospital you like is also off limits now. People who worked for large corporations like Citicorp and Toyota got to keep their insurance since large employers were allowed to subsidize great insurance plans for their employees. And most government employees enjoyed the same benefit. Guess who got screwed; the people who were jumping up and down smoking dope and clapping their hands for joy as well as those of us who actually can think for ourselves and knew we were about to get screwed by the government again.

The reasons for the democrat inability to think remain a real mystery, but the inevitable results of that inability remain a fact. So what does all that have to do with Democracy? During Uncle Joe's State of the Union address he said our democracy had survived its biggest threat since the civil war. What was he talking about? a small group of unarmed people who stormed the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, in an effort to express their dissatisfaction with the results of the recent presidential election. It was a stupid move, but hardly a real threat to our system of government. There was one fatality that day. A black police officer got scared and shot and killed an unarmed white woman who was also an Air Force veteran. Police brutality? Nope! He was just doing his duty and putting down a wild attack by an army of unarmed individuals who had declared war on America and were about to overthrow the government. Besides he was a black police officers and she was a white woman, just balancing the scales is all.

Yes those who entered the Capitol building and committed acts of vandalism or other crimes should be prosecuted for their crimes. It was a bonehead move. There is a wrinkle however. It turns out that the FBI had paid informants who were hired to whip the crowd into a frenzy and lead them into the attack on the Capitol building. In the recent trials of the supposed insurrectionists none of that has been mentioned because at first no one knew about it. The director of the FBI made sure that was classified Top Secret information. We only found out because one or two brave FBI Special Agents came forward and told us about it. Of course they are not covered by the laws against  retaliation against whistle blowers and have been fired from their jobs, democrats aren't covered under our laws. They violate the laws whenever it pleases them and that's just the way it is.

That's the way a pure Democracy works. The majority doesn't have to obey the law because they're the ones who write the laws and if they become subject to that law they find a sympathetic judge who will rule the law unconstitutional or they will repeal the law, or get the president to sign an Executive Order making a heretofore law inoperable for a period of time. And that is the main reason democrats insist our government is a Democracy when it isn't. And there are a lot of Republicans who seem to think we are living in a Democratic government as well. We aren't.

Our  system of government was threatened during the 2020 elections when democrats were allowed to throw away or refuse to count tens of thousands of ballots. There is little evidence of that because as soon as it was announced that any irregularities were going to be investigated democrats locked their doors and said, 'nope!' there is nothing here and there is no need for you to barge into our precinct and investigate nothin'. And when there is no investigation there is no evidence. And when the people under suspicion are given enough time to destroy evidence there really won't be anything to investigate. So I think democrats are telling the truth when they say there is no evidence. It is one of the very few times when they feel comfortable telling the truth.

So no Joe, we did not survive a serious threat to our form of government, which is not a Democracy as I just pointed out, but a Republic. In his pathetic speech and I do mean pathetic, he claimed that he has created 800,000 new tech jobs, and that inflation is down. He also claimed that the price of gasoline is down a buck fifty from its highest cost, which may or may not be true, but he failed to state the reason gasoline costs more than ever is because of his stupid idea to fight climate change, which is a euphemism for American greed killing the planet, is to stop domestic production and ramp up foreign production. We can now purchase oil at inflated prices from governments who hate us, but will sell oil to us at inflated prices because they need the money and we are stupid enough to buy it from them.

He took credit for low unemployment which he inherited from Donald Trump and incredibly hasn't been able to raise that number despite all of his efforts. Donald Trump inherited a 9.4 percent unemployment rate from King Barry and Uncle Joe. In less than four years he reduced that number to 3.4 percent and incredibly Uncle Joe has not found a way to get it back up to 9.4 or higher. In 2015 inflation was less than one percent. Now it is over nine percent. Interest rates in 2015 for housing loans was close to three percent, now it's closer to six percent.

American Democracy is not failing. We have never been a democracy. Our Republic is weakening because democrats keep chipping away at it, taking away our rights. Creating problems then pretending to find 'solutions' for those problems like the America Care Act. Even now they have created a monster they call climate change which is a natural phenomena but they claim is an existential threat which is itself a misleading claim. Existential is an expensive sounding word, but it has more to do with a state of mind than anything rooted in reality, which is pretty much how the democrat mind works. Reality isn't important what's important is a persons state of mind and if you can scare people bad enough they will do anything you want. And that is what democrats count on more than anything else; fear.

Scare a population into doing whatever you want. They hate an educated public because educated people are harder to scare. Schools have become places of indoctrination and education has no place.

If we ever do become a Democracy we are doomed. We must preserve our Republican form of government and protect the Constitution at all cost if we are to survive as a nation.

End The War on Drugs

Recently in Central California an entire family was wiped out, including a sixteen year old girl who was holding her ten month child. Of course the murderers also killed the baby. There are kidnappings taking place in the United States all along the Mexican border and now the Mexican cartels are operating throughout the United States. The main reason for this is sales of 'illegal' narcotics. The current narco boogie man is fentanyl. Thirty years ago it was PCP, then methamphetamine, rock cocaine, oxycontin and a few others until now fentanyl has taken the spotlight. Americans have been dying from overdose of narcotics ever since America began. Narcotics abuse is nothing knew yet instead of blaming the people who are dying from drug overdose we blame the drug.

And where are these dangerous drugs coming from? Mexico. And who benefits from that? The murderers who run the now legitimized drug cartels and corrupt Mexican officials. And who loses? The American public. I have read estimates that Americans spend over 150 billion dollars a year on illegal narcotics. And we still make it illegal. We support kidnap, murder, rape, bribery on a mass scale. Who can look at the photo of that sixteen year old holding her baby and then realize she along with the rest of her family was brutally murdered by cartel hitmen just because one of the family members was involved in the illegal narcotics trade and think it is still a good idea to support the drug lords?

Not me. We should legalize all narcotics immediately. We never had the right to outlaw them in the first place. It should be legalized, regulated and taxed. Put the drug lords out of business. Make sure that anyone who applies or a license to open a narcotics store passes a thorough background check. Conduct a background check on any investors. Clean it up. Make sure the manufacturing locations are clean. Don't allow any manufacturing to take place outside the country. Tax it heavily and use the tax to treat people who become addicted to narcotics. Use some of it to run public service programs warning people that if they are using narcotics for recreational purposes they are making a huge mistake. Then let them decide. There may be a spike in use for a time, but it will be a short period of time and we will learn about the effects of recreational narcotics use.

It could be that in certain quantities it is relatively safe. As long as we continue to support the illegal narcotics trade we will never know. And now these cartels are infesting the entire country. As far north as Montana and many other states they are witnessing a rise in all manner of crimes and an increase in deaths from overdose. And the amount of money the United States on enforcing our narcotics laws is staggering. It's almost 100 billion dollars a year when you include the cost of criminal prosecutions and then incarceration.

Americans are a fairly educated people, possibly the most educated fools in the world. And why do we do this? Nobody knows for sure. For thirteen years we tried prohibition and it was pretty much a failure. All we did was support a huge criminal syndicate. We supported kidnap, rape and murder and our society did not benefit from it. So why are we still supporting this madness now? It is nearly impossible to determine how many people die in the United States each year from drug related murder, certainly that sixteen year old girl and her baby were among the casualties, estimates run from 46,000 to 90,000. Opiate related deaths are estimated somewhere around 85,000. In addition to that we spend about 100 billion dollars to fight what law enforcement likes to call a 'war on drugs'. It is an immoral war. We have been engaged in this 'war' for over fifty years making it the longest war we've ever been involved in at a cost of over a trillion dollars and we continue doing the same thing over and over again with the same failed results. It's time we tried a different approach. One that costs much less both in dollars spent and lives ruined.

The United States could all but stop the wholesale murder of people on both sides of the border by legalizing all narcotics and then regulating and taxing the industry. You can practically guarantee that so-called accidental overdoses will be much lower because of the quality control that can be imposed. I fail to see how continuing the flow of dangerous narcotics across the border is helping with what is being described by a lot of people as an opiate crisis. If so, it is a crisis that we created ourselves and the solution is fairly simple; legalize all narcotics immediately.

Taking away the prohibition on narcotics probably will not make the problem go away, but it will slow it down substantially. If people insist on a perfect solution to the narcotics problem then we should get rid of all penal codes in America since none of our laws have effectively eradicated all crime. Use your heads folks we've spent trillions of dollars and suffered millions of deaths while claiming to be fighting a war anyone with any brains at all knows we can never win. It's time to stop the madness, legalize drugs and slow the drug smuggling trade to a mere trickle compared to the river flowing currently.

Simply allow the drug cartel leadership to die on the vine. When we take away their most affluent customers they will have a lot less to do.

Haughty Democrats

Fortunately I can use a Thesaurus so I don't have to keep saying 'arrogant'. Democrats are completely predictable. Unlike Republicans who may regularly embellish, but very seldom lie, democrats lie even if the truth serves their cause better. The lie du jour concerns the presence of a Chinese spy balloon over the United States. It's there alright and it was first sited by someone in Montana. This is important because now the Biden administration is telling us that it first entered American airspace over Alaska on Sunday, January 28th.

Now for the hard part so democrats especially need to try to keep up. Five days later someone in Montana looked up and saw something strange floating lazily way up in the sky and wondered what it was. Chase Doak was in his driveway when he noticed something unusual at what appeared to be a very high altitude  so he used his cell phone to video record it and called a few of his friends in town and asked them if they could see it. One of those friends was a news reporter and apparently that's when the Biden administration's cover was blown.

The Balloon was shot down on Saturday February 4th but was meandering around the country since January 28th. Uncle Joe and his court jesters apparently thought they could keep it hidden from the American people, but on February 4th some Montana trouble maker not only saw it, but blabbed to all of his friends about it. One of his friends was a reporter and it didn't take long for the whole world to learn about it. It turned out that President Biden knew about it since the first day it entered American air space. Or maybe not. Other reports say he found out about it the day before the Montana blabbermouth saw it. Most likely he found out about it on Wednesday.

President Biden said he learned about it on Tuesday and he wanted it shot down on Wednesday but his advisers said it was too dangerous to stop it from spying on our military installations and they should wait until the Chi Coms had all the information they were looking for then shoot it down after it was safely away from land and there was no longer any further intelligence to be gathered. So they allowed it to continue its journey until they were certain that the Chinese government had downloaded all of the information then shot it down over the ocean where currents could scatter any useful intel over a hundred mile area making it next to impossible to recover. Great job Uncle Joe!

And now dems are saying, "Hey what's the fuss? The Chi Coms do this all the time, it's harmless. And they even did it when Donald Trump was president!"

Of course it turns out that the Chinese government probably has been doing this all during the Uncle Joe administration, this was just the first time they got caught. Democrats just don't see the point in keeping anything secret from people who want to destroy us. Why should we be keeping secrets from China, they are not our enemy we have no enemies. Unless you count people who vote Conservative. According to many leading democrats the biggest threat to the American way of life is the people who believe in the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. The Chinese simply are not a threat.

Well, maybe they're a threat if someone sees their spy satellites flying overhead and a lot of people think it should be stopped. Democrats don't consider that a national threat, it is something far worse; a political threat. It could cost them the election if it isn't handled properly. And when asked about the importance of keeping the location of the balloon from Americans General Ryder responded that it was ok with him if Americans looked up to see if it was above them, but the Department of Defense sure as hell isn't going to tell them where it was. Who do the American people think they are anyway? Who put them in charge? Honestly I kind of have a hard time considering Ryder a general. He has no leadership experience, never piloted a plane, never been in a combat zone. He is a leader the same way the manager at a major newspaper is a leader. He gets to wear all those ribbons, living off the exploits of people who are actually brave enough to put their life on the line. As far as I can tell he's never commanded a missile silo or even been inside one. Has he ever been directly involved in any of our satellite programs? It isn't on his Air Force resume if he has. It looks like his career path is pretty much a secret.

How incredibly lucky we are! Our government has given us permission to look up and see if the enemy is above us! They don't have to tell us about enemy movements because we have our own eyes. If the enemy is attacking we will see it for ourselves. That's nice. As near as I can tell, and there is no way to know how accurate this is since the most open administration in American history is riddled with secrets, this balloon entered American airspace a week ago and was ignored, or at least kept a secret from us until some guy in Montana did what the great swashbuckling General Ryder gave us all permission to do; he looked up.

And looking up he said to himself; "What the hell is that?" when he saw a large white object floating at what appeared to be a very high altitude. He wondered if it was a UFO or something. Later we found out it was a spy device from China that neither government wanted us to know about. Apparently, if you can believe Uncle Joe, and that is a gigantic 'if', the president was not advised of its presence until Tuesday. It was detected the previous Saturday, if you can believe the Biden Department of Defense, which again is a stretch, and he either 'ordered' or gave them permission to shoot it down on Wednesday. That was a problem for the DOD. Perhaps they hadn't confirmed yet from Beijing that they had downloaded all of the information they needed and would rather wait until the spy balloon had completed its mission and they had captured all of the information from it. Then it would be ok to shoot it down if that would help with any public outcry now that it had finally been spotted.

So some general told the Commander in Chief that it would be safer to allow it to complete its mission then shoot it down several miles off the coast of South Carolina. Uncle Joe and his court jesters are claiming the water is fifty feet deep where the balloon splashed down, but it is likely much deeper than that and even if it's only fifty feet the currents are going to possibly carry much of the debris miles away. In other words whatever they salvage it probably won't be much. And how come senior officials are always anonymous? If they don't know the answer to something they should just say they don't know. If something is classified Secret or higher, then they can say that. But if the Chinese dictator knows then there is really no reason why we shouldn't know too. And most likely the Chinese dictator has downloaded a lot of Top Secret information.

Is there such a thing as a haughty Republican? Of course there is only they don't give away military secrets to our enemies, they just refuse to prosecute those who do. They promise prosecutions then they allow entities to obstruct justice until democrats take over again. And of course Democrats no longer have to continue the investigations so they just get dropped. Half of the voters in America are knee jerk democrats who share the belief that American security is an outdated concept that too many people spend too much time worrying about.

I maintain my hope that soon a strong America Party will emerge and put one or both of the current major party's behind us for good. We don't need a Department of Defense that isn't concerned with enemies spying on us and we don't need any generals from any military branch giving us permission to look up at the sky. It truly is impossible to embarrass a democrat.

The Homeless Solution

I haven't seen any surveys or studies to back this up, but I have noticed that people who are not education oriented are being denied a livable wage in the workplace. For years I have been listening to democrats rail that a family of four cannot live on the amount they earn working for the minimum wage. Duh! Yes that is true and hopefully it will always be true. Democrats have loused up the definition of 'family' to the point that it is difficult to know what a family is, so for the purpose of this discussion a 'family' of four is a mom and a dad, and in this example two kids.

Even if both parents are working the minimum wage will be inadequate. What democrats seem oblivious too is the fact that no one working for a minimum wage can support him/herself, let alone a family of four. At least not where I live. Minimum wage in California is $15.50 an hour. A full time employee is anyone working thirty hours a week. That works out to about $2015.00 a month. Just to rent a room in the area where I live costs $1200.00 a month and that's if you share a bathroom with another renter in the same house. And it doesn't include meals or a kitchen. Rents can be about two hundred dollars less if one shares a room with another person and fortunately usually the room is furnished.

Maybe a single person can live on that while they work their way up the ladder if they are allowed to work full time, but there are no employers here that will give an employee a thirty hour schedule. Some people work two jobs to make up the deficit, but a lot of employers don't even care about that. They won't allow an employee the flexibility to let them know what days they are available to work so they end up losing one job and keeping the other, and sleeping in their worn out car.

So what is the solution? The most obvious solution is to encourage employers to pay people at least enough money that they can afford to rent a one bedroom or studio apartment close to the location where they work. One possible roadblock I found is the so-called America Care Act. This cruel joke of a law forces employers to provide insurance for anyone who works thirty hours in a week. Democrats! Want to make sure everyone has health insurance? Simple; just force someone barely getting by himself to pay for it. Of course there is an alternative, employers can just hire more people and make sure they don't make the thirty hour threshold. That way employers can keep more of their money to be used to comply with government regulations that are required in order to operate a business. There isn't a greater job killer than a government bureaucracy.

Why should men and women who are vastly underpaid be forced to live in their cars while they eek out a bare subsistence? Before Obamacare, when Americans were allowed to work a forty hour week without anyone being forced to pay a government imposed penalty, an individual could earn enough, even on minimum wage to pay for a small apartment. And why do people continue to vote democrat? First of all, probably just out of habit and we all know that a bad habit is hard to break, and second because people believe the lies they are told by democrats because it all sounds so wonderful. Lots of people believe it when some candidate promises to take care of everyone's needs from the day they are born to the day they die. Nancy Pelosi even advocated that we should pay people a couple of thousand dollars a month so they could pursue their dreams of becoming an artist or a writer. She's got hundreds of millions of dollars why doesn't she open a facility for people with those aspirations? Probably even she doesn't believe the garbage that falls out of her mouth, but it gets votes. I haven't attempted to navigate the health insurance exchanges but I'm reliably informed that they are difficult to understand and untangle.

Do you want a high premium and low copayment, or low premium and high copay and just hope you never get sick? And which one covers the prescription your child needs? And since we are over regulating the industry why don't we pass a law requiring all insurance carriers to cover whatever prescription a person needs? Who even knows which illness is going to find them and which prescription they will need?

I have an idea. On the day Obamacare was scribbled into law millions of Americans lost their health insurance and that is not propaganda from Fox News it is the whole truth. Of course you never heard that on the other so-called news channels, those who are actually in the propaganda business, because they are hard core democrats/socialists. And every American became subject to a fine for not signing up for one of the insurance frauds offered by the Obama fanatics on that day too. And now we are experiencing an explosion of homeless people on the street. Many of them are in dire need of medical attention due to genetic mental illness and they should be institutionalized for their own good as well as the safety of the general population. Others are drug addicts and alcoholics. Let's put drug addicts on the back burner for now. Then there is another portion who are homeless because although they are willing to work, and there are jobs available, they cannot even afford a studio apartment to live in. Why don't democrats find a way to persuade employers to give their employees more work hours. Let's modify the ACA so people can earn a good living. Let them work a forty hour week if they want. Give them their dignity back. Keep the minimum wage the same, just tell the boss to let his people work enough hours so they can afford a place where they can go after work, take a shower, cook a meal, watch MSNBC so they can see how bitchin their democrat rep is, get some sleep and get back to work? People would stay on the job longer because they wouldn't keep getting fired for being late or missing a shift altogether. Or even a Republican. Somebody could do something to help homeless people earn enough money to live in a decent home. We used to do it and we should learn from that. Let Americans work and it is amazing what they will accomplish.

In many cases they cannot even afford to rent a room in someone else's house. Why don't they live with mom and dad? Who the hell knows, and why should a healthy adult be forced to do that?

SOLUTION?

Why not scrap the thirty hour work week and the fine for not carrying health insurance and allow Americans the basic and necessary opportunity to earn enough money to at least provide themselves the minimum type of housing? We shouldn't allow the government to dictate to us how much money we can earn or to force our employers to provide health insurance. Yes medical needs can be and are expensive, but another fact about living in America is that we all have to opportunity to work, earn and live. Supposedly we are to be free from government interference in our lives and that is a good thing. In the United States of America we pride ourselves on our own abilities and don't want any government official telling us what we can or cannot do as long as we aren't harming other people.

And another truth that democrats hate to admit is the fact that Obamacare began as a lie and remains a lie. I personally know people who are stuck with Obamacare and are still paying as much as a thousand dollars a month for life saving medications for their children. Some pharmacies will subsidize those medications for awhile, but the term always expires even though the illness remains. Democrats are so compassionate that they can accept a certain built in mortality rate as long as they can claim that they are 'helping' people find health insurance.

Getting the Feds out of our lives would solve a lot of our problems. Letting Americans be Americans would solve a lot of our problems. People need to stop worrying about who is going to pay for their expenses and spend more time thinking of ways they can pay their own expenses and government should be encouraging that.

If we want to relieve some of the stress of homelessness we would encourage companies to pay their people full time pay for full time work. Allow Americans the opportunity to earn a good living and get off their back. If government would simply step aside and allow people room to breathe we could solve so many more problems than are solved by over zealous officials. Forcing Americans to do things they shouldn't need to do, and enforcing those ridiculous laws at bayonet point is wrong, counter productive and stupid.

People who work for a living should be paid at least enough for one person to be able to rent a small apartment they can call home and still be able to eat. State senators should tour the businesses in their districts and find out how employees are being paid before deciding how much a state minimum wage should be, if one is needed at all. There are some young people who no longer live at home and need to work to support themselves, there is no way a young person living in California can survive on the state minimum wage. The average rent in Los Angeles is over $2700.00. The California minimum wage is $15.50 and that works out to be just over $2,000.00 for a person working full time which democrats have decided is thirty hours a week. Even a democrat should be able to see that a person cannot rent an apartment and have money for groceries at that rate.

So where do they end up? In fifteen year old Nissans that barely run or tents on the sidewalk when the Nissan gets towed for a parking violation because it stopped running. The owners of companies claim they cannot afford to pay their employees a livable wage while they sit in their mansions and collect paychecks in the millions of dollars. Those men and women need to think about where they would be if people stopped working for a pauper's wage, which many have.

REVOLUTION

Most people don't want to fight a revolution and it shouldn't be necessary. The most recent news item I read dealt with the CEO of McDonalds who is paid a mere seven and a half million dollars a year. He said that paying their employees would impose a substantial hardship on the company. The people who work for McDonalds should at least be paid well enough to be able to afford a small apartment instead of being forced to live in their cars or on the sidewalk.

In the eighteenth century in the United States unions organized workers into collectives that could force employers to pay them a dignified wage. Few people if any are saying the head of the company shouldn't be well compensated, it is the boss that is claiming that the people at the bottom should be happy that they have enough to eat; who really needs an apartment to live in anyway? I suppose people who don't have the ability to become corporate bosses deserve to live in tents on city sidewalks. The first labor strike that I can find was in New York in 1794 when a group of tailors rejected a decrease in their wages. Since then there have been many labor unions that sometimes were forced to turn to violence to get what they deserved.

During the Industrial Revolution some industrialists hired their own security forces who would beat striking employees with clubs, sometimes beating them to death and some of the security forces actually used guns to kill people on strike. Today union bosses seem to be a little too friendly with the CEO's of large corporations, largely ignoring entry level laborers. In the good old days some union bosses provided clubs and even firearms on occasion to even the playing field with the security forces of the big companies. Now the union bosses rarely seem to even know how much an entry level employee is paid. To be fair to union bosses there are still a lot of businesses that haven't unionized. I don't know what it takes to form a union, but people who want to be treated fairly and maintain their dignity should look into it. And bosses who don't like unions need to find ways to allow their employees the opportunity to live a decent life. They don't have to buy them houses, but how about allowing them the opportunity to at least live in a small studio apartment with a kitchen and running water instead of a tent or a cardboard box on the sidewalk?

The hourly wage only tells a small part of the story. The number of hours people are allowed to work helps provide a more accurate picture. You cannot ignore housing costs when deciding how much entry level employees are paid. If a studio apartment costs two thousand a month the employee needs to paid a sufficient amount to be able to find a place to live and still have money for basic needs like food. When people realize they are not being treated with proper respect by the boss they need to organize and teach the boss how to act. If I were still at the entry level workplace position and I couldn't afford even a lousy apartment I'd be shopping around for unions to join.

The millionaires and even billionaires will pay better if they are 'persuaded' to do so by the people who help provide the lavish lifestyle they enjoy. And if company executives don't want to have to deal with union regulations, which sometimes are burdensome, then they should take a closer look at the abuse they are heaping on their employees. Look at the tent cities and people living in old cars parked on the street. Those are your employees, the people who pay for your mansions and yachts and jets can't even afford to live in a 850 square foot apartment. American corporations can do better and they should do better. If their franchisees can't afford to pay for labor then the corporate structure is wrong.

There are enough employers who do pay a livable wage that corporate execs should be able to figure it out. I know small business owners who take an interest in their employees and pay them enough to live in an apartment instead of the street. Those employers live a comfortable life, but they don't live in twenty room mansions and fly around the world in private jets. They are content with twelve rooms and flying first class.

When looking for a solution for the homeless crisis it would probably pay to check with the people on the street and find out why they are in the position they are in. There are lots of businesses constantly looking for people to work, it could be that even the people they hire are living in tents along busy streets and public parks and if an employer doesn't care enough about the things his employees do for him he's going to lose them.

Of seven 'studies' I just read about dealing with homelessness none of them included questions about what, exactly, do homeless people need to help them get back on their feet. What didn't surprise me was the fact that there are a lot of homeless people who are not strung out on drugs. Many of them were laid off from job that paid well and now they can't even find a job that pay enough to live in a small apartment. Many of them did report significant health issues and those could probably be addressed fairly simply, possibly by allowing doctors, nurses and other medical professionals including dentists, with significant student loans, to work them off by providing time one or two days a month to help people in crisis. There is a solution to this problem but it will have to come from the private sector and that is a challenge. Which billionaire will be willing to provide some long term assistance for these unfortunate people. They need to have a transitional place to live, a job that pays them at least well enough to rent a small apartment, and maybe assistance with filling out an application for a job online.

With the planet supposedly about to explode from the pressures of man made global warming, in ten to three hundred years, or maybe never, no one seems to have time to solve a problem that is occurring every day right in front of them. I think of how much real good an RFK Jr. could do or a John Kerry if they put their minds to a real problem like helping homeless people get back into the work force. But if they 'wasted' their time doing that they might not have time to fly around the world socializing with the billionaires of Europe, Asia, and South America pretending to solve a problem that is well on its way to solving itself. What if the department of Housing and Urban Development took a serious interest in helping people in urban settings find housing? Their budget is almost two billion dollars a year and they can't figure out a way to teach businessmen why they should pay their employees enough to live in a decent apartment?

We could reduce the number of people living on the street by just using our imagination a little more, thinking big, and getting American corporations to take a look at how they are paying their people. Fifteen bucks and hour might be a great wage in some parts of the country, but in Los Angeles you might as well just pass out tents and cardboard boxes because they sure aren't going to be living in a secure location. Bring  back the forty hour work week. It doesn't matter what works for Europeans, we live in the USA and we do things differently, we do things better.

White Supremacy!

Well the inevitable has occurred, once again proving that white police officers go out on the streets of our cities after holding prayer meetings pleading for the opportunity to kill as many black men as they can. Yup! If you can believe it, five white supremacists armed with badges and guns murdered a young black man for no reason. This time there were a couple of minor deviations from examples such as the black hero, George Floyd, from Minneapolis. This took place in Memphis Tennessee, and the white supremacist police officers were all black, and the victim in this case most likely was truly innocent of any crime and he had no prior criminal history. Tyre Nichols was by all accounts an innocent black man who was severely beaten by at least four police officers. Unlike with George Floyd, a forever hero of the BLM mob and the democrat party, Mr. Nichols did not attack the police or resist arrest in any meaningful way. I have to be cautious with this because I know people think that when they have seen a video recording they've witnessed a real event when what they've really seen is the portions of a real event that the Newsies want them to see.

In  1991 Los Angeles there was a scene captured on someone's video camera that showed four Los Angeles police officers wailing on a black man with their batons and using multiple taser darts on him. And that is all anyone saw. The original recording showed Rodney King attacking Officer Powell and throwing him on the ground. That was an important piece of the story that very few people were allowed to view. I think only one station showed that portion of the encounter and they only showed it one time. That was and important piece of the incident for people to see if we were to get a better picture of why the police did what they did. In the case of Tyre Nichols the video recordings I've seen only show the police shouting at him and ultimately dragging him out of is car and hitting him and kicking him. Nichols keeps insisting that he is cooperating, but it is hard to tell. At times it almost looks like the police are in his way as he attempts to roll onto his stomach, but he could be resisting since he does appear to keep sitting up.

If he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs he may have thought he was cooperating. And we don't get to see the police car on board video camera that would show what the police mean by reckless driving which was the reported reason for the traffic stop in the first place. Because reporters are so completely biased against law enforcement and they clearly don't mind lying about the police, I need to see the recording from the police car in order to determine if he was driving recklessly. And we have to remember that when a person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs that can cause them to be lousy drivers, even dangerous to everyone on the road.

However even if all of the things I just mentioned turn out to be true I'm not sure they can justify the actions of the police officers. There is one scene in particular under a streetlight where a police officer appears to be kicking him in the upper torso or head, then once he is standing up another officer strikes him apparently with is fist in the face. One of the hits to his face appears to knock him out. Whether or not what the police did was criminal a jury will decide, but clearly they were not acting very professionally.

What I don't see is any white supremacists anywhere in this incident. I don't see any white people at all and yet that is what democrats are claiming. Tyre Nichols is the victim of white supremacist police officers. And they are claiming that we need stricter federal laws regulating police officers. And some people wonder why I believe very little of what democrats have to say. Democrats like to ignore important truths such as we've passed a variety of civil rights laws that protect black people and ensure that they are given proper access to all public services and that they are not discriminated against because of their race.

Voting laws have been passed to ensure that black people have the same right to vote as any other citizen. All of those laws were passed over the protest of democrats in both houses of Congress. Now democrats claim that they are the champions of civil rights for black people. Nonsense. What have democrats ever done to help black people? Nothing. Democrats have created a welfare state they claim will help black people when the opposite is true. The fact is that the welfare state slows the progress of every population that falls victim to it. Today democrats claim that we are a racist nation for a variety of reasons; no one should be allowed to vote without a valid identification card.

Now black people are being bombarded with statements like Tyre Nichols was beaten to death by white supremacists who hated him because of is race. Hilary Clinton once stated about General Patraeus expected her to 'suspend disbelief' when she was trying to make him look like a liar even though he was telling the truth. Hypocrisy is the defining characteristic of the democrat party these days. You really do have to doubt literally everything your senses are telling you if you believe racism played a role in the beating those four black police officers administered to Tyre Nichols that night.

Democrats won't rest until they have succeeded in destroying America or they are soundly defeated at the polls by Americans. Not by Republicans, but Americas. We need an 'American' party to put the country back on track. A party free from even the appearance of racism. Incredibly a lot of white supremacists love this country and want to defend our Constitution even though they have a mental illness that allows them to hate some people because of their race. And I'm not going to tell them to vote democrat. At least most white racists love this country and accept the Constitution as the law of the Land. Most of them don't believe in protected classes of people such as members of certain 'minority' groups including black people.

I would say that it's time for us to tell the world that America is not a racist country, but most of them already know that. Even a cursory glance at the history of the United States tells us that most of the people who fought for independence were opposed to slavery including those who owned slaves. Obviously there were a few boneheads who supported slavery, but the Constitution was written is such a way as to portend the end of slavery in a peaceful manner, not the civil war the democrats embarked upon when they opened the war against their own country.

You have to be a real dimwit to believe that America is racist today. We have a lot of problems and we continue to make some mistakes, but racism is part of our past not our present or our future. There will always be some slobs who hate people because of their race, but they are a very small portion of our country's population. They exist in every race and nobody with any sense pays any attention to them except for democrats who are always on the lookout for ways to make us look like a racist society. It's the only way democrats can win an election. Most Americans believe in the entire Bill of Rights including the right to freedom of speech and the right to self defense.

Don't believe it. America is a great country where all people are welcome regardless of their race and everyone gets an equal chance to succeed or fail.

Democrats are anti Self Defense

Answer this question if you don't mind:

If you are home in your living room reading a good book, or any book, and some stranger barges through your unlocked front door swinging a baseball bat screaming that he's going to kill you, are you going to reach for your cell phone or the magnum under your chair? If you're like most people you selected the magnum and that's a good choice because the cell phone isn't going to do you any good at all. After you've deployed the magnum and the stranger with the bat has either left your house or is now bleeding all over your floor then is when you want to reach for the cell phone. And honestly, if you're smart you're going to call a defense lawyer who specializes in defending slobs like us who believe in the right to self defense before calling 911. After you've been debriefed by the lawyer then you're going to call the police.

If the bad guy opted to leave you alone when he caught a glimpse of the shiny magnum in your hand and booked a quick escape you are lucky. You are lucky because first of all you don't have to deal with the mess on your living room floor, but almost as important you don't have to face some democrat district attorney who hates guns and anyone who owns one, who is going to pick an anti self defense grand jury and carefully explain to them why you are guilty of voluntary manslaughter because you deliberately used deadly force against a man who was only armed with a baseball bat. This may sound absurd and it is, but that is the reality of the democrat party. You should have run from the man until he caught you, then you should let him beat you and anyone else in your house. After that if you are able you should call the 911 operator and after waiting on hold for 90 seconds explain to that person what just happened to you.

And since the perp is now long gone you'll wait a half hour for the police and EMT's to arrive. The EMT's will want to put you in a neck brace, a leg splint, and wrap several bandages around your wounds because that's how they make money by billing the city. The police will ask you to tell them all about yourself and the encounter you had with the guy who accidentally walked into your house through a door you carelessly left unlocked. You practically begged the guy to enter your house. Then they will offer to conduct a safety inspection of your residence for you. Whatever you do do not allow them to conduct any safety inspection. They are looking for any violation they can find. Empty beer or liquor bottles on table tops may show that you were intoxicated when the bad guy burst into your house menacing you with a bat and in your intoxicated state you started shooting at him even though he meant you no harm.

I can't even tell you what all they might find, but they will be looking for something. If you have a shotgun in the corner of your bedroom that is not locked up that will go in their report. If you don't have trigger locks for your firearms that will go in their report. Any unlocked doors or windows they find will also be noted. You haven't violated any laws, but they will make you look reckless and unorganized. Once you've consented to a search they own your house. They will check closets, showers, kitchen drawers, anything they want to search they will. You can revoke your consent at any time, but most people don't know that and they let the search continue.

You should use your cell phone or other video recorder to document everything they are doing. They will object, but remember they are in your house. You can order them to leave at any time. They will get indignant and ask you what you have to hide. Don't let them intimidate you. Stand up for your rights the minute it becomes obvious they are not conducting a safety check stop the search. For one thing you have just been through a terrible ordeal, especially if you have shot the intruder. Actually if you are standing over a person you just shot whether he is dead or alive use your video recorder to document the fact that you do not consent to any search of your property.

And don't be surprised when they handcuff you "For our safety." What? They have your gun and you are the victim, but that doesn't matter. To a democrat your civil rights don't mean a thing. There is no reason why they can't ask you to get in your own car and follow them to the station. And be prepared to be there for the next ten hours. It's gonna cost a small fortune, but try to have a competent defense lawyer meet you there. They can shorten the police station visit considerably since they will not allow the police to abuse you in any way.

I'm pro police, but they have their orders and especially in the big cities they are getting their orders from democrats who couldn't care less about your rights. You may have just killed one of their constituents; a fellow democrat since most criminals tend to vote democrat. That's why democrats are constantly complaining that in some states convicted felons can't vote. In small towns you will do better since people who are more conservative will be sympathetic to the plight of a man who was minding his own business in his own home after working all day then was forced to defend himself against an armed intruder threatening to beat him to death with a baseball bat. They won't care that you didn't lock all of your doors and windows or that you have a shotgun leaning against the wall in your bedroom. The police there won't even take your gun from you or handcuff you and drag you to the police station for ten to twelve hours.

Americans believe in your right to self defense. They think all of us have the right to protect ourselves when someone with a bat threatens to kill us. To Americans our basic civil rights shall not be infringed. It is a mystery why any American would vote democrat as long as democrats oppose the Bill of Rights. Actually it doesn't matter to me if a man or woman in their own home shoot and kill anyone breaking the law on their property. If a person doesn't belong on your property and they are stealing or threatening you in any way and you blow them out of their shoes word will get out that your home is a good place to stay away from if you are looking for something to steal or someone to attack.

I wouldn't kill a person breaking into my car, but my neighbor might. As far as I'm concerned he or she has that right. Word will get out that if you want to steal something or threaten someone you should pass on that house because they are mean enough to kill you if they catch you.

It doesn't make any sense to me to allow politicians to disarm a whole society just because there are a few bad people who will misuse a firearm. That is precisely why we should always be an armed society; an armed society is a polite society. Democrats will tell you that you don't need to own certain firearms because they can be used to commit violent crimes. They will tell you that firearms only are useful for hunting and in their opinion some rifles shouldn't be used for hunting and therefore you shouldn't be allowed to own them. That is nonsense. Some people like to hunt. Others like to shoot recreationally at targets at a shooting range or out in a safe area where you can practice shooting targets a thousand yards away or more.

People who own guns aren't criminals. They are people who want to target practice, experience the recoil of firing a large caliber rifle or pistol, use a shotgun to shoot skeet, or just practice safely firing their favorite self defense firearm. We don't need to mess with them, we need to respect what they do. There are multiple times when people who carry guns have used them to defend others in public places and that is a good thing. Know your rights and defend your rights. If late term abortion has always been your reason for voting democrat consider the importance of your right to self defense. Your right to defend your family against an armed madman.

Some states want to outlaw firearms and some states believe in your right of self defense. That is what the Constitution says. If you value your rights you will never vote democrat until they begin to respect your most basic civil rights. The right to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed; that's what it says. Let's keep it that way.

Are Republicans for Real?

I don't like or trust either major party. One wants to destroy America and the other keeps checking which way the wind is blowing before taking a stand on anything. Currently the democrat party is so scared of Donald Trump that they are continuing their relentless persecution of him and his Republican colleagues are standing mute, refusing to defend what is an obvious fact; there is enough circumstantial evidence of major fraud during the 2020 election that an investigation was warranted. Democrats insist that there is no evidence that there was any fraud and they should know because they are top experts in the field of evidence destruction. What's worse they have the backing of the Department of Justice and the FBI.

Joe Biden barely said a word during the presidential campaign and when he did speak everyone saw obvious signs of the possible beginnings of dementia. Instead of taking that condition seriously they have tried to hide it. And Republicans have been completely silent about it. Democrats have inexplicably been allowed to lie to FISA judges to obtain warrants allowing the FBI to 'legally' spy on a political candidate, something which is unprecedented and in this case ignored.

This FBI official was also licensed to practice law in another state. What did the state bar association do? Suspended his license for two years and fine him $1000.00. We know he has been readmitted to the Washington D.C. bar association and is now listed as a lawyer in good standing with the bar. I don't know what his status is in his home state, probably the same since it has been more than two years since he plead guilty to lying to the court so he could spy on a political candidate who the Bureau was trying to railroad into prison using false reports and planted evidence. And where was the Republican party leadership? Nowhere to be seen. Their candidate was being taken apart illegally by the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Republican leadership never said a word, leaving Donald Trump completely alone to defend himself. There is no honor in the Republican Party leadership.

And just what has the Republican Establishment had to say about this? Close your eyes and listen. Nothing. Understand this very clearly; the Barak Obama administration attempted to plant evidence on an innocent man running for president because they were afraid of him.

In their efforts to discredit Donald Trump the Obama DOJ and FBI headquarters employed a course of intimidation and harassment against anyone who ever smiled at him or had a kind word to say about him and the press followed them around like well trained attack dogs. They practically kept a running itinerary of everything Trump's associates did, especially if there was a chance that someone would be investigated for anything whether or not the investigation had anything to do with Donald Trump. In order to lend greater credibility to CNN the FBI  invited them to participate in the search warrant executed at Roger Stone's residence then 'coincidentally' showed up with the FBI when they had secured a warrant to search a former presidents residence, which has never happened before. The strength of the Obama administration was the president's ability to attract heads of various departments that were loyal to him and not the Constitution. The main weakness of Donald Trump was that he kept too many people who have worked their entire adult lives in government. He needed to look at corporations and municipal law enforcement agencies for new talent.

There is no doubt that Donald Trump is a threat to the democrat master plan to destroy America or that he is a threat to certain leaders of the Republican party who really, really want to be the next president but are too incompetent to qualify for the job. Donald Trump is a real threat to some subversives in this country, but he seems content to leave them alone as long as they don't try to hurt him. And even if he does get angry enough to do something about them he seems at a loss to know just what to do. And forget about any Republican helping him. It seems to me that there is no spine in any Republican leaders except possibly Ron Desantis and Gregg abbott and I'm not sure they have the depth of ability that Trump has.

In order to do the tough job of being President of the United States you have to be willing to make a couple of enemies, some of whom can become a real problem. Obviously Donald Trump isn't afraid to step on a few toes once in awhile, even mashing them when he thinks it is necessary, but what he wasn't able to do was organize a team who could deal with the aftermath. Donald Trump is a goal driven man who rarely sleeps and is constantly thinking about everything. He has been witnessing the incompetence of politicians his whole life and is in a position to finally do something about it. He could use the support of the GOP but too many of them are jealous of his political abilities, especially that he won the presidency with no political experience.

They are willing to lend some support, but not enough to get him another tour in the Oval Office so they are content to allow democrats to win enough victories to plunge the country into a mess like we are in now and then persuade an exasperated America to finally elect a Republican who may or may not be able to help fix the democrat mess. It is a vicious cycle and one that never ends. Recent proof of this would be the two terms of President Obama where we watched him apologize to the entire world for America's crimes, lie to us about his health insurance scheme and lose the House of Representatives, then turn Federal agencies into weapons used to protect his administration such as the IRS when Lois Lerner refused to grant any special tax status to any organization that disagreed with the Obama administration, the Department of Justice oversaw an illegal operation selling automatic weapons to Mexican cartels who later used those weapons to terrorize anyone they didn't like and to murder two American Border Patrol agents, he turned the entire country against the police, he was effective in dividing Black and White America more than it had been divided since the 1950's. King Barry had a golden opportunity to heal the country and chose instead to drive a wedge between the races.

Recent Republican failures have to include GW Bush who involved us in a war that should have lasted a few months but was mismanaged so badly that twenty years later Americans chose a senile old man who orchestrated a panicked retreat from that war resulting in a Vietnam style embarrassment and the death of thirteen United States Marines. Al Gore would have plunged the country into a severe recession, GW plunged the country into a war that lasted about eighteen years longer than it should have. Donald Trump made at least ten campaign promises and he delivered on nine of them in his four years in office. He actually delivered on nine and a half of them since he was instrumental in cutting out the individual mandate included in King Barry's health insurance fraud. In spite of the opinion of John Roberts, who probably was acting mostly out of a political motive than a legal one on this decision, Obamacare was unconstitutional. The day the so called and misnamed ACA passed millions of Americans lost their insurance and access to their physicians. Time is a good healer and people have sadly become adjusted to this government run disaster. Americans have become like the lobster in the pot of water, democrats are slowly turning up the heat until we are all cooked.

And where are the Republicans? Who knows! The Tea Part has saved America a couple of times and their philosophy still resonates with a lot of Americans. Hopefully they can work out their personnel issues and bounce back again. The Republican Party has offered little hope to us for the last ten years. And of course the democrat party only wants to destroy America and rebuild her after a failed European model. The only truly pro America candidate with the courage and the strength to rebuild this great country is an old man named Donald Trump and Americans have become so soft and weak and 'entitled' that they are willing to slowly give up their rights one by one until they have subjected themselves to some form of monarchy and the American experiment, noble as it is will have failed because "We the People" were too weak and lazy to continue the fight.

The party of Lincoln is becoming a whipped puppy afraid to assert itself because "What if they don't like me?" If they don't like you they will vote for other guy. You need to let that guy screw things up then step up and tell us what you would do different and better. It's that simple. You don't slink off into a corner and try to decide how you can become more like them hoping that everyone will like you more.

We need a strong third party to take their place. We are in desperate need of good moral leadership. Someone who can inspire others to work hard and discipline themselves. We need people who are not worried about what gender they think they are or what they can do to force their hard working neighbors to provide all of their needs for them. That used to be the Republican party, now there is no party willing to show us the way. The Republican foundational policies are sound, but even they are afraid of their platform.

Donald Trump has adopted the Republican platform because he believes in the American dream. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to self defense, the right to be free from government intrusion into our lives and many other freedoms. He sees that the democrats are running the country aground and he wants to help. He is the first president in our history to refuse to accept any salary. Apparently the law says the president has to accept a salary so technically President Trump was paid, but he donated all of it to other government departments.

Are the Republicans for real? Not really. I left the Republican party because republicans were afraid to defend themselves against a personal attack especially if the attack came from a black person or a woman. Republicans are so afraid of being labelled as racists or anti woman that they won't even disagree publicly with a person from either of those groups. And that brings me back to Donald Trump. Donald Trump even garnered some democrat votes because people from both parties had become disaffected with what was being done and saw Trump as a refreshingly open alternative.

Today democrats are going strong and Republicans are afraid of their own positions.
