Moer Madness from the Left

I doubt that Keith Olberman is going broke financially, but he does seem a little desperate for attention. Easily one of the dimmest bulbs in the democrat drawer, somehow he manages to keep his job, wherever that is. Democrats seem to love him which brings me to my point about democrats and family values. Democrats are simply anti family. Not as individuals; I know several democrats who are decent people who've been deceived by the democrat 'ideals' whatever they are.

Democrats say that if you are not pro abortion you hate women. Complete nonsense which is demonstrably false, but that is their position. If you don't agree with gay marriage you hate homosexuals. And if you think it is wrong to change your gender then you are just a horrible person and should probably be exiled or killed, because you simply are not fit to live in any decent society. So back to Keith the skank.

By any measure Mitt Romney is a better man than Olberman could ever hope to be. Romney has done more to help thousands of people. Keith Olberman only wants to help himself. Romney has a beautiful family with kids who have grown up to be productive members of society. His kids have kids who are well on their way to strengthening whatever community they live in. Keith? Well, not so much. Keith is a democrats democrat. His main question in life is 'What can people do for me?'. He pokes fun at people like Mitt Romney probably because he is jealous of Romney's success, and because he knows he could never be in the same class with Mitt Romney. He also hates Romney because Romney claims to be a republican, which is a dubious claim.

Mitt Romney is pro choice. And he believes in man made global warming, which are two of the main things democrats are constantly ramming down everyone's throats. I'm not sure where Mitt stands on welfare, or solutions for the homeless, or even raising taxes on everyone but himself, but politics aside Mitt is a good man. He lives a clean life and sets a good example for others to follow. Mitt Romney is a man to look up to and emulate, something Keith Olberman would never understand. I don't care much for Keith, I think he is a liar and a simpleton.

I think very highly of Mitt Romney and hope he can continue being a good example for all of us. Maybe someday he will join us politically as well. Nobody is perfect. In my book Romney is a good man and that kind of vulgar remark toward a good man could only come from a democrat desperate for the limelight.

SELF DEFENSE

Okay, you are asleep late at night, or whenever and you hear some miscreant forcing open a door or window to your home. What should you do? Call the police? Handle it yourself? I'd say both. If you have time you call the police then go take care of the problem while the police respond. Your kids are all asleep in different bedrooms of the house and your wife is asleep next to you. Maybe she should call 911 while you confront the bad guy(s).

You will need a flashlight and the firearm of your choice. I like shotguns or the trusty M4. Pistols are fine as well, but hopefully you've been practicing regularly and can safely handle a firearm even when the adrenaline is pumping. There is nothing more tragic than mistakenly killing or seriously wounding a loved one. If you have a German Shepard that will come in handy too. In fact that loyal dog will most likely send the bad guys packing long before you even open your bedside electronic safe. Personally I'm not a big fan of killing bad guys if it can be avoided. I'm no fan of letting them get away either. We have a God given right to defend ourselves and our own neighbors are trying to take that away from us. Don't let them! The right to self defense is a basic human right. The right to have the police show up an hour after the bad guy has left and you are in the hospital waiting the five hours it takes to receive emergency medical assistance is not a God given right or a basic human right; it is government overreach.

Telling anyone they can't carry a gun for self defense is a violation of our human rights and a serious one. If a bad guy doesn't want to get shot he can look for a house occupied by a democrat. And the sign nailed to the tree in my yard that proclaims, "I shoot first, check for a pulse, shoot again, then call 911" is not a joke. It's a fair warning. Crooks who break into a person't house are playing the lottery; is the homeowner armed or not? If he or she is, is that homeowner willing to kill in self defense or the defense of other family members? In my case the answer is yes to all of the above and if I hear a bad guy breaking into my neighbor's house, you'll get the same result. She's not a democrat, but she lives alone and her eyesight isn't what it used to be. Sandy is my German Shepard and she is ready when the time comes. Years of obedience training and practice have prepared her to take care of unauthorized visitors while I wake up.

Our government officials are a mess in many states. Too many of them hate people who own firearms and I really don't understand why. Any intruder has the option of staying out of my house and I encourage them to take that option in the strongest terms. If you haven't been invited into my home stay out. If you take the other option and choose to force your way in, you better hope I'm not there or be ready to leave this frail existence a little early because the only hesitation you'll notice from me is the split-second it takes to get a good sight picture before I pull the trigger and end your pathetic existence. If I'm gone and Sandy is there alone, she has been trained to hold you until I get back and she's good at it. The more you resist, the more damage she'll do to you so just do as she says and when I get home I'll take over. And of course after the police and coroner have done their duty and hauled your carcass away I'll sleep like a baby.

The Second Amendment to our Constitution guarantees us the right to keep and bear arms. We can have an army and a police force too, but the right of an individual to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Judges are supposed to be smart, but they don't seem to understand the guaranty in that statement. If you're comfortable with the idea of waiting the 15-20 minutes it takes for the police to arrive at your house in an emergency while an armed intruder forces entry into your home that's fine with me, but you don't have the right to impose that option on the rest of the country.

If people are concerned about the potential for some to use firearms in an inappropriate way the best thing to do is enhance education about what a gun is. The fact is that no gun has ever shot anybody, no knife has ever stabbed anyone, no car has ever run over anyone, etc. All of these things are inanimate objects incapable of accomplishing anything on their own. Of the more than 40,000 incidents of deaths caused by people using firearms each year half of them are from people shooting themselves. Mental health is a huge issue that is all but ignored in this country. A lot can be accomplished toward solving most problems by educating people about things they don't understand, such as firearms. I don't like educating five year olds about birth control, but democrats think that is vital. So if it's important to teach kids about birth control why can't we teach them firearms safety? There are almost 400 million guns in the country and I don't think millions of gun owners in the country are going to just hand them over to whatever government official wants them. If we started educating our young people about respect for firearms there is a good chance they'd be less likely to accidentally shoot someone or themselves and they'd be less likely to use a gun to do something truly evil.

Democrats may want to disarm all Americans but it is never going to happen so they really should embrace the idea of educating children about guns. I've heard democrats say that the idea of education school children about gun safety and care and storage is a preposterous idea, but they never say why it's a bad idea. Gun safety is way better than gun violence.

The truth is I like guns and lots of other Americans like guns. I like to shoot targets, sometimes I like to hunt, and if necessary I would use a gun to defend myself or the people I care about from an armed aggressor. The Constitution guarantees all of us that right.

Next year we have a chance to atone for the sins of 2020. Do yourself a favor and only vote for candidates who support our constitution. The rest are just going to strip you of your rights.

Christmas is here again

The Beach Boys sing a song that includes the line, "Christmas comes this time each year..." and it does every year. For a couple of hundred years we've enjoyed an unprecedented amount of religious freedom here. No other country has ever allowed citizens the type of freedom here and as far as I know there is no other country that allows citizens the opportunities we enjoy here. There was a time briefly in the sixties when atheists were becoming vocal about the opposition to religion and religious beliefs. We used to recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning when I was in grade school. We used to honor the men and women who risked everything they had so we could remain free from oppression. Atheists didn't like to hear children giving respect to our country because the Pledge includes the words, "Under God". So atheists claim there is no God and they are comfortable with that belief and of course they have the right to believe whatever they want as long as they don't turn those beliefs into actions that will harm others.

The fact is that there is a God and no one can change that. If a parent has a child they don't want to say the words "Under God" they can teach their child that it isn't necessary for that child to say those words. I don't know how many atheists there were in the United States in 1963, but the only people who I was aware of who didn't recite the Pledge were Jehovah's Witnesses, a group of people who believe in God and won't pledge their allegiance to anyone but God. And that is their right and I never saw anyone make fun of the kids in our school who were Jehovah's witnesses, although I'm sure there were a few bucket heads who did. Atheists? I think there may have been one kid who said there was no such thing as God. I've always been taught, and I still believe that people have an absolute right to be wrong. As long as they aren't interfering with my right to be wrong. And about three percent of the population of America is reported to be atheist today yet they claim the right to tell the rest of us that we can't worship God. Since America has become increasingly cowardly and allows judges to dictate our religious beliefs to us, we no longer sing Christmas carols in public schools or put up Christmas displays in front of or inside of public buildings or in town squares.

Judges have effectively provided cover for atheists  to bully the rest of the country into abandoning any public display of religious symbols even though the vast majority of Americans still want to sing Christmas carols in school and put up public displays of Jesus Christ in court houses and city halls. I don't think most Christians mind at all a public display of the Menorah or even a Muslim symbol that honors the Creator of the world. Most Americans are not atheists, but believers in God. And most religious people have no problem enjoying the religious practices of other peoples as long as they are respectful of the rights of others and non violent. An example of unacceptable religious practice would be the Taliban. And another is Atheism. The Taliban are violent and intolerant in their core beliefs. And Atheists are just intolerant of the beliefs of others. Atheists don't want to be told that they are free to ignore public displays if they wish, they want to tell the rest of us that we don't have the right to enjoy them. And unfortunately they are winning.

Jesus Christ is the only reason we have a Christmas season. Fortunately if there is an atheist tradition I don't know what it is. I doubt it is anything beautiful, peaceful, or festive. It probably wouldn't be anything at all and they have the absolute freedom to decorate their homes with signs declaring that their is no God if that's what they want to do. They do not have  the right to dictate to the rest of us what we have to believe. I don't know what motivates judges but they have given atheists a great deal of power which is terrible.

For me Christmas is a time of great beauty. Scenes of snow drifts, Frosted windows, ice skating on frozen ponds, and decorated buildings and trees. It is a time of peace and beauty and should be appreciated by all even if they don't think God exists. How can anyone be offended by beautiful music and lights? Anyone who doesn't like Christmas is free to ignore it.

The only thing I don't like about Christmas is the increase in commercialization. I'll keep the decorations and the music, but don't expect an elaborate gift from me. And I hope no one is worrying about getting anything elaborate for me. Time with family and friends in a beautiful surrounding is all I need. Let's play some games, sing some carols, eat some good food and remember to be grateful for the things God has given us!

Whether or not you choose to believe, God lives and He is our Eternal Father.

Merry Christmas!!

And to my Jewish brothers and sisters A Very Joyous Hannakah!!

To my fellow Abrahamites, I wish you a happy season too. May God be With you Always!!

Karl Rittenhouse

Karl Rittenhouse' acquittal for murder is good news for all Americans. Among other things the Bill of Rights guarantees us the right to defend ourselves against unlawful violent criminals and that's what Karl did. Some people may not like guns and they may think the Second Amendment is being misinterpreted by people who believe that the phrase, 'the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed' means we can hire police officers and soldiers, and arm them, but the rest of us are not covered by the Second Amendment, which is nonsense of course.

The right to keep and bear arms sounds pretty simple to most people. We can purchase guns if we want and if necessary we can defend ourselves and the lives of others using a gun. Too many states have outlawed just about every type of firearm there is. Lawmakers in California have been so stupid that they've passed laws against firearms possession that even they can't explain. I was a peace officer in Los Angeles for 36 years and there were two laws I refused to enforce unless I had a very good reason; seatbelts. If ever there was an illegal law it's that one. The other is carrying a gun. Unless someone is using the gun to intimidate people or commit some other crime I couldn't care less about that person carrying a gun. In fact in Los Angeles it's pretty dumb for a person to walk around unarmed. Especially now with democrats telling the police to stop harassing criminals.

And the 'leave the bad guys alone' mandate is working out very well. Just about every category of crime has increased by triple digits. I was there a couple of days ago and it just keeps getting worse. It's just a dirty city. And it is run by democrats who have decriminalized theft to the point where theft is barely a prosecutable crime and all crimes are increasing.

And today democrats have morphed into something grotesque. They want to control everything we say and do. They no longer recognize honest differences; instead they think if anyone thinks different then they do  those people have to be silenced. They invented a law called 'hate speech' that was designed to ensure that everyone talks the same and has the same opinions. If you oppose gay marriage you are no longer exercising your freedom of religious expression you are guilty of hating gay people and you can be fired for that. If you don't believe that the police go out everyday looking for black men to kill you are guilty of hating black people. If you oppose abortion you hate women and so on. And there are many other examples. So far there are no laws that allow prison terms for the above 'crimes' but people do lose their jobs and sometimes even friends. And soon there may be actual legal penalties. Churches are under tremendous pressure to accept and perform same gender marriages and some just won't do it. What will happen to them? The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of worship. Many democrats support that, but the party has shifted and the party leadership opposes just about all freedoms and that is why they have to try to find a way to make the Second Amendment disappear. The American people are the largest militia in the world and they are well armed. Many of them are also well trained

To democrat party leadership Rittenhouse is the epitome of what's wrong with America. First of all he's white which just makes their blood boil. Second he carried a gun! He carried a gun! And he used that gun to kill white men in an angry orgy of violence. Democrats were burning Kenosha, Wisconsin down because a black man wanted for rape didn't want to go to jail so he started a fight with the police when they tried to arrest him. He was armed with a knife and during the ensuing fight the police tased him a couple of times to no effect and at the suspect got away briefly. When they caught him again he violently turned to face them and one of them thought he still had the knife and shot him several times seriously wounding him and ending the fight. Another clear example of the the police using lethal force when being threatened by a violent man armed with a knife and then being labeled racists because this particular armed criminal was black. The police did what they had to do and Rittenhouse did what he had to do. The right to self defense has to be absolute; one of our most basic human rights.

So much for women's rights, if a black man rapes a black woman she deserved it I guess. And if a black man doesn't want to go to prison for committing a violent crime the police should just leave him alone I guess. Frequently when a black criminal starts a fight with the police and ends up being seriously injured or killed there has to be a peaceful demonstration that turns into a riot and then a shoplifting spree and Rittenhouse wanted to witness the scene for himself so he travelled to Kenosha to see what was going on. And since people are often killed or seriously injured during democrat peaceful demonstrations, where buildings are being burned and looted, traffic is being stopped for no reason and often white people are dragged from their cars and savagely beaten Rittenhouse borrowed a rifle from a friend of his. A lot of Americans don't consider burning buildings, looting, and beating people to death, a peaceful demonstration so they vote for the other person.

So Karl drove to the scene to witness the 'peaceful' demonstration and somehow ended up agreeing with a few democrats who were supporting the carnage and they tried to beat him to death because that's what peaceful demonstrators to to people who disagree with them. It's a democrat right to express their righteous anger if someone doesn't march to their tune. And Karl probably did support the police and was not in agreement with what the crowd was doing. Karl didn't want to get beat to death so he used his rifle to defend himself and he shot three people, two of them fatally. We all have a right to defend ourselves when we are threatened. The police are great but they can't be everywhere so when we are threatened with violence we have to be able to defend ourselves until the police show up.

Especially in America today. Democrats don't like pro-active police departments. They want the police to stay in their cars and leave people alone. The need to exercise our right to defend ourselves and our loved ones has never been greater. The police are losing their ability to keep citizens safe from attack because democrats have told everybody the police are dishonest, violent, and racist. Karl Rittenhouse did what he had to do and fortunately the jury agreed that his actions were reasonable and necessary.

For me our Constitution is a sacred document that needs to be taken seriously and it's worked for almost 250 years. And the Bill of Rights is perhaps the most important part of the Constitution. I don't want to be ruled by a tyrannical monarch. I cherish the freedoms we enjoy here and I agree with the principle of individual responsibility. It's not mean to punish people who steal and commit violent crimes. And it's not mean to expect people to work for a living. And it's not mean to allow people to fail. The right to self defense is a sacred human right and no government has the right to take that away.
